  <p>An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mental Wellbeing and Counselling Practitioner to join our Occupational Health and Wellbeing service.</p>
<p>The post-holder will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team of counselling professionals, who pride themselves on their commitment to improving, developing and providing excellent care for our workforce.</p>
<p>The post holder will support the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team to provide an effective, high quality, mental wellbeing and counselling service.</p>
<p>The post holder will use a flexible confidential counselling service to promote the psychological health and welfare of our employees / staff who access the counselling service.</p>
<p>You will be expected to use a range of skills and methods of delivery to provide individual and group support. You will have continuing responsibility for designated clients, assessing client needs, providing the appropriate support, and appropriate counselling interventions.</p>
<p>You will manage your own caseload and activity, making individual client assessments, and supporting with sensitivity and compassion. You will be a strong and positive individual who will enjoy developing, leading and collaborating with a dedicated professional team. You will work within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the governance of counselling / psychological practice within the service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will undertake specialist counselling and psychological interventions, formulate psychological treatment plans and provide the service with expertise in the specialist clinical area, contributing to the delivery and outcomes of the Occupational Health Service</p>
<p>This post will have strong links with, and support from the trusts Mental Health Services and Psychology Service with opportunities for collaboration with external partner organisations across North Wales.</p>
<p>The post holder will provide professional specialist occupational health and wellbeing advice to its users and ensure that an accurate assessment of the workplace health needs are met.</p>

  <p>Are you passionate about perinatal mental health? If so, we are currently looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking and self-motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality, person-centred support to people accessing care under the Perinatal Mental Health Service.</p><p>We are looking to recruit an individual that has lived experience of mental health difficulties within the perinatal period as a Perinatal Peer Support Worker in our Mid and North East Hampshire patch.</p><p>The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Perinatal Community Mental Health Team provides mental health support and services for birthing people and their families during pregnancy and up to 24 months after birth. The team prioritises people with moderate to severe and complex mental health needs. The service also provides consultation for advice, information and signposting for people with a less severe mental illness in the perinatal period to primary care providers including GP's Health visitors and maternity services as well as the birthing people themselves.</p>

  <p>Peer Support Workers are people with previous experience of using mental health services who are employed, trained and supported to use these experiences to support others. At the heart of the role is the building of safe, trusting relationships based on the sharing of lived experience. The focus of the peer worker role is on enabling individuals to discover and make use of their strengths, and to build and strengthen connections to their peers and wider communities.</p><p>The successful applicant will be working alongside our other existing Peer Support Workers. The team's current base is Southern House in Otterbourne near Winchester.</p><p>The role is part of an innovative service providing specialist assessment, support and treatment for women/birthing people and their families. The service is an early implementer site in developing a Maternity Mental Health Service and has close links with NHS Talking Therapy services with the aim of ensuring a clear pathway for women/birthing people in terms of their health and wellbeing during the antenatal and postnatal period.</p><p>We offer candidates an excellent local induction to the team including peer to peer induction shadowing and opportunity to learn and expand knowledge around the specialism of Perinatal Mental Health care. In addition the Trust also offers a comprehensive Peer Support training package and opportunity to network within the PSW community in the trust, with a dedicated Peer Support Worker Lead.</p>

  <p>We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Peer Specialists ready to use their personal journey to inspire hope and guide others through self-defined mental health crisis.</p> <p>The Retreats - based in Bournemouth and Weymouth (subject to final arrangements in a move of current base) offer an open access crisis mental health service every evening; providing a welcoming, safe space for people to come and receive support, without referral or judgement.</p> <p>The partnership between lived and clinical experience is fundamental to the ethos and values of the Retreats, and you will work alongside Registered Practitioners in this role. As a vital member of our team, you will provide practical support and peer-led guidance to help visitors and their support networks regain control and hope while navigating challenging moments and moving forward in their recovery. By sharing your lived experience, you will foster trust, hope and promote self-determination.</p> <p>You'll receive comprehensive induction and specialist training, including trauma-informed care and collaborative working practices, to ensure you can use your experience to create real, lasting impact.</p> <p><strong>Full and part time hours are available (minimum 15 hours or 2 shifts per week). The service operates 365 days of the year, and whilst all reasonable flexible working requests will be considered, shift times are set at 16:00-midnight, in line with the opening hours of the service.</strong></p>

Lived Experience Peer Support Worker

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Due to internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity within Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for a person with lived experience of Mental Health conditions to use their experience to support others as a Peer Support Worker within the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Team, who support service users in the community with their employment goals.</p> <p>You will provide support to individuals within the service by role modelling and using your lived experience to support service users in their recovery and employment journey.</p> <p>Service users will be seen mainly in defined localities within Lincolnshire but cover for other geographical areas covered by the Trust may be required if the need arises.</p>

  <p>To act as a role model to service users and their carers to inspire hope that recovery is possible.</p> <p>To share life experiences and lessons learnt as a person in recovery.</p> <p>To share your own and other examples of lived experience of recovery.</p> <p>To support service users to identify and access meaningful activities in the community</p> <p>To empower service users to create a supportive network.</p> <p>To use a number of agreed recovery tools e.g. SMART goals in a flexible way to support the service user.</p> <p>To support the service user to communicate or involve mental health professionals and wider support network.</p> <p>To promote service user involvement in all aspects of their work.</p> <p>To use peer experience to co-facilitate groups and training to service users and/or staff members</p>
