You will be providing a service to children with visual conditions and their families. </p> <p>The successful candidate will provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children and families referred to the Ophthalmology team at GOSH, working closely with consultants and allied health professionals. The role includes provision of psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions on a predominantly outpatient basis.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>What we can offer:</strong></p> <p>You will be working with the Surgery &amp; Development Stream (a team of paediatric clinical psychologists) who offer psychological input to children under the care of thirteen medical specialties. In addition to your work with the Ophthalmology team you will contribute to the flexible delivery of psychology services across the stream, in response to new developments and organisational changes. </p> <p>We are one of three paediatric psychology streams within the hospital and sit within the wider psychological and mental health services. </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a psychology team we draw on a range of therapeutic modalities including Narrative, CBT, Systemic, ACT, compassion focussed therapy. There are opportunities to work in creative, formulation-driven ways with young people and families. You will be offering individual, family, parent and group psychological interventions, as well as working within GOSH MDTs and with external agencies.</p> <p>There is a strong commitment to continuing professional development in line with job planning. A range of academic teaching is offered within the department as well as special interest groups in medicalised trauma, medically unexplained symptoms, narrative therapy, cognitive assessment, and others.   <p>We have an exciting opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours/week) band 5 Lived Experience Practitioner and Trainer, to join our Psychologically Informed Consultation and Training (PICT) team. This team sits within the Intensive Management of Personality Disorder and Clinical Therapies Team (IMPACTT).</p>
<p>The role of PICT is to support Berkshire Healthcare staff and partner organisations who work with clients that may meet criteria for the diagnosis of 'personality disorder'. We are a team of Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Lived Experience Practitioners (people who have their own experiences of accessing services for personality disorder and living with this diagnosis). </p>
<p>The PICT approach is to consult with the staff, individuals or teams, rather than working directly with the person using services. We offer consultation, training and support to community and inpatient settings, and to Primary Care Networks across Berkshire.</p>
<p>The post holder will bring lived experience and knowledge of personality disorder/difficulties to support the delivery of consultation and training, focusing on the upskilling of a wide range of professionals and teams, helping them to understand and work with compassion and confidence with people with difficulties that may be associated with the diagnosis of 'personality disorder'. </p>
<p>You will work closely and collaboratively with PICT colleagues to ensure a co-produced approach. You will have regular supervision and support in this role. </p>

Senior Paediatric Audiologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are delighted to share a rare and exciting opportunity to join our friendly, well-established team in a brand new role at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Due to expansion and improvement of the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), we are seeking to recruit a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to be joint team lead for the acute team, and to clinically lead on delivery of the service to AMU.</p> <p>The postholder will share responsibility for leading the acute team of band 5 and 6 SLTs and a band 4 assistant alongside the other band 7 team lead, and will have access to CPD, supervision, peer support and internal and external training opportunities to develop and enhance their leadership skills.</p> <p>The successful candidate will carry a caseload of patients on AMU, including patients with and without tracheostomies, and those receiving non-invasive ventilation.
