  <p>Community Mental Health Services have undergone widespread innovative transformation. North London Foundation NHS Trust is at the forefront of this transformation, developing a more holistic, recovery oriented, biopsychosocial approach to supporting people with mental health difficulties, in partnership with primary care, other community NHS providers and the voluntary sector. The aim is to build support systems that reach the whole mental health population with a focus on prevention and sustained recovery delivered by multi-agency collaboration. Each population unit is based on the footprint of a Primary Care Network (PCN), bringing together NHS, voluntary sector, peer support and community organisations. These relationships will be central to the new community mental health model.Clinical Associate Psychologists are an innovative role in mental health services, that are core to this community transformation and offering high quality clinical care to the Camden borough.We have an opportunity for a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist (Band 6) to join our South Camden Core Team on a full-time basis.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The CAP role is central to the team's psychological provision, with opportunities for group interventions, 1:1 therapy using a Structured Clinical Management model and other evidence based approaches, alongside joint assessment, formulation, intervention and consultation.</p> <p>There will be opportunities for leadership, research, service development and consultation to the system, which will involve liaising with professionals involved in the in care of the individual. The teams work closely as MDTs, with weekly clinical meetings where complex cases can be thought about and MDT formulations can be developed.   <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic therapy team. We are looking for a part time position (3 days a week) for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant within our Adult SLT Service. We work with patients in their own homes, in clinics at inpatient neuro-rehabilitation and in Lister Hospital.</strong></p>
<p>The post-holder will need to be organised, enthusiastic, a good communicator and will have previous experience in a rehabilitation or care delivery setting. You will be assisting in the rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of neurological needs (including physical, communication and cognitive) which may include both individual sessions and group work. You will be working closely with the Speech and Language Therapists and a wider MDT including the medical team, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Nurses. You will need to be able to keep accurate clinical records and have good clerical/ administrative skills.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will be responsible for supporting Speech and Language Therapists with the assessment and management of adults with acquired communication, speech, language or eating and drinking disorders.</p>
<p>You will carry out therapy plans with patients who may have a range of diagnoses including stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, Motor Neuron disease and other progressive neurological conditions. You will need to build excellent rapport with patients and providing them with a high level of care.</p>
<p>You will need to be able to keep accurate clinical records and have good clerical/ administrative skills.</p>
<p>You will support the team with resource building, such as low tech augmentative and alternative communication aids (AAC).</p>
<p>You will help to run communication groups alongside other SLTAs.</p>
<p>The Speech and Language Therapy Service in East &amp; North Hertfordshire is an integrated acute and community service covering community clinics, inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation and the Acute and Stroke teams based at the Lister Hospital. There are frequent opportunities for gaining skills in other areas and career progression.</p>

<p>Croydon Drop In (CDI) are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Student Volunteer Counsellors on Placement to work within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services. Student Volunteer Counsellor on Placement

<p>Croydon Drop In (CDI) are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Volunteer Counsellor to work within our award-winning Voluntary Sector services. The post-holder will work within our safeguarding protocols to provide safe interventions for children and young people using evidence-based methodologies. The post holder will safely work with people across different cultural backgrounds and ages and will be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.</p>
<p>Counselling is delivered by experienced qualified contracted counsellors, and our team is supported by qualified volunteer counsellors who wish to give back to the community, require a stepping stone to a paid counselling role or are independently working toward increasing their client contact hours or are working toward their accreditation.</p>
<p>To meet the standard criteria you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ba a graduate or at post graduate level in counselling or have completed a level 4 Diploma or equivalent in Therapeutic Counselling</li>
<li>Be a Registered Member or an Accredited Member of the BACP membership or equivalent with a professional standards authority (e.g. UKCP, HPC)</li>
<li>Have two years minimum duration of personal counselling or psychotherapy.</li>
<li>Commit to delivering 4 hours counselling (1 evening) per week to young people of the service</li>
<li>Have 1 years’ experience of delivering counselling in a counselling agency or similar setting</li>

Qualified Volunteer Counsellor

<p>Due to significant business growth PAM Physio Solutions are looking to employ the skills of an enthusiastic and experienced occupational health occupational therapist to provide specialised workplace needs assessments and provide the opportunity to enhance their skills working for a large occupational health provider. They will be based and cover assessments in the South region as part of a nationwide team</p><p>We are looking for an&nbsp;<strong>Occupational Therapist</strong>&nbsp;who is passionate about the assessment of individuals with acute, chronic and complex health presentations to support their return to work or keep them in work. As part of our PPS team, you will be involved in delivering Specialist workplace needs assessments, Rehabilitation Services, Ergonomic Assessments, Case Management and delivering onsite training programmes.</p><p>The role will involve traveling to different client sites/ PAM clinics with some remote/ home-based work.</p><p>A full induction will be provided along with training and development through PAM’s dedicated PAM Academy, to support CPD and career aspirations</p><p>Travel time will be factored into the working day (depending on distance).&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Working as an autonomous clinical practitioner, being professional and responsible for all aspects of own workload.</p><p>To deliver specialist workplace needs assessments and relevant services covering a range of health conditions at client sites/ PAM Clinics or remotely. Delivering a thorough and detailed clinical assessment, using appropriate clinical techniques, tools and equipment. Using clinical reasoning to provide relevant solutions and recommendations.</p><p>Delivering evidence-based intervention to all patients, in line with RCOT and NICE guidelines, and in accordance with the PAM PPS clinical pathways.</p><p>Formulating treatment plans / goals, assisting and enabling patients to achieve their goals and targets.</p><p>Providing appropriate advice based on the patient’s medical, social and cultural circumstances.</p><p>Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, contemporaneous patient records in line with clinical professional standards of practice. Recording the information in line with clients SLA’s and RCOT, HCPC guidelines.</p><p>Providing remote and face to face clinical interventions and assessment.</p><p>Liaising with employee managers to provide reports, treatment/ rehabilitation updates, and return to work / task modification recommendations.</p><p>Competitive Salary and Excellent Company Benefits.</p><p>Permanent contract</p><p>Full Time or Part Time min 24 hours over 3 days. Between Monday – Friday 8am to 6pm</p><p>Must have 6 months UK based work experience. Degree in Occupational Therapy</p><p>Registration with the regulating body, the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).</p><p>Adhere to professional standards for Occupational Therapy Practice, as detailed by the HCPC and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).</p><p>Good understanding of relevant consent and confidentiality legislation/GDPR.</p><p>Understanding of current occupational health issues and an ability to keep abreast of current initiatives and best practice.</p><p>Working understanding of relevant employment law in an occupational health context e.g. Equality Act 2010 and reasonable adjustment application.</p><p>Analysis of Occupational performance/participation, with health and medical aspects. (Biopsychosocial and environmental factors (Physical, sensory/communication/interaction, cognitive/executive function, neurodivergence and mental health)</p><p>Confident with activity analysis/job demand analysis (JDA) physical/cognitive/psychological aspects of a role.
