  <p>This position has been introduced to enable flexible delivery within a portfolio of courses, and where appropriate, across portfolios. It aims to facilitate the post holder in implementing a wide range of skills within an integrated post. At senior level, the post holder will be required to undertake a leadership role in relation to an aspect of course delivery, in this instance, the assessment component of the MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (M58), which is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council. The post holder will work flexibly across a range of programmes to provide teaching, supervision and tuition to master's and where appropriate, doctoral students, as required. The post holder will also be involved in recruitment and assessment processes and will assist flexibly in all aspects of course delivery within the portfolio and other portfolios where relevant.</p> <p><strong>Portfolio Information</strong></p> <p>The MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (M58) is situated within the DET Psychoanalytic Portfolio.   <p><strong>We are recruiting for 1 full time permanent Team Lead to join the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service.</strong></p> <p>Welcome! The Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin NHS Talking TherapiesService is a busy caring team consisting of Administration staff, PWPs, CBT Practitioners, and Counsellors. We deliver Talking Therapies to the people of Shropshire, Telford &amp; Wrekin which has exciting, diverse and growing modern towns, surrounded by the stunning Shropshire countryside.</p> <p>Working as part of the operational leadership team, you will provide line management to a group of Step 2 / Step 3 staff, and will have the opportunity to be actively involved with service development through project work.</p> <p>You will provide all aspects of line management support for a group of Step 2 / Step 3 staff within the Service</p> <p>You will work closely with the Strategic Operational Lead and Service Operational Lead to ensure that the Service KPI's are met</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>You will managerially lead the Step 2 / Step 3 staff of the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service. This will include appraising staff and providing line management supervision whilst adhering to the key principles of the NHS Talking Therapies programme contained in the NHS Talking Therapies Manual</li>  <li>You will provide all aspects of line management to Step 2 / Step 3 clinicians (trainee &amp; qualified) within the service.</li>  <li>You will be responsible for ensuring that service and individual performance targets at Step 2 / Step 3 are met, identifying and resolving underperformance and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve results.</li>  <li>You are not expected to have a clinical caseload, although a small caseload could be negotiated to meet the minimum requirements for professional registration/ Accreditation within one core modality.</li>  <li>You will be working with Staff, Service Users and Carers from different cultural backgrounds, ages, difference and diversity, and should be committed to culturally sensitive practice and offering equality of opportunity.</li> </ul>
