<p>Wolverhampton Talking Therapies Service within the Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression services to the local population of Wolverhampton.</p>
<p>The service offers a number of evidence-based psychological interventions both at step 2 and step 3 as proposed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance. The service endeavours to offer the local population a full range of evidence-based psychological interventions, within a stepped care approach, to a high standard and quality .</p>
<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen in the team for one permanent and full-time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join and contribute to the innovation and success of our well-established Talking Therapies service.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holders will work alongside other Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and will be required to assist in providing line management, supervision, direction, and development to the step 2 workforce. The post holders will also have a significant role to play with the development of trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>
  <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>The step 2 service offers a combination of Computerised Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Telephone one-to-one Low Intensity CBT, and face-to-face one-to-one Low Intensity CBT. The service endeavours to introduce group interventions at step 2 and post holders will be key in developing and shaping the content and delivery of step 2 groups to sit alongside the aforementioned interventions.</p>

  <p>Would you like to be part of a new, exciting and innovative service working with young people with an ethos of prevention and early intervention?</p> <p>In line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Mental Health Support Teams (named by children and young people in the region as Wellbeing in Mind teams) are an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England. We currently have 5 Wellbeing in Mind teams across North Yorkshire, which are embedded within education settings</p> <p>We are looking to recruit an Education Mental Health Practitioner, the successful candidate will be employed on a Full Time basis and be part of a team delivering support to schools and colleges in the York area.</p> <p><strong>Applicants must have successfully completed the 1year Post Graduate Certificate 'Education Mental Health Practitioner' course.</strong></p> <p><strong>Applicants must be registered with British Psychological Society (BPS) or/and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Wellbeing in Mind team has 3 functions:</p> <ol>  <li>Support the development of a whole-school or college approach to wellbeing. This can include, but is not limited to, supporting sites to develop and implement mental health and wellbeing policies, development of resources, supporting campaigns and delivering training, assemblies and PHSE curriculum.</li>  <li>Provide timely advice and consultation to education staff. This is designed to support teaching staff to build their skills and confidence in supporting the wellbeing needs of their students/pupils. This is offered in both a formal and informal way.</li>  <li>Undertake direct assessments and intervention for young people within education. We offer a low intensity service model, predominantly using cognitive-behavioural therapy.</li> </ol> <p>Each function accounts for a third of the team's workload.</p> <p>Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Psychologist, to lead the Long-Term Conditions part of Paediatric Psychological Support Service based at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital.</p> <p>The post-holder will be part of a small team of psychologists working with children diagnosed with a range of long-term medical conditions (e.g. inflammatory bowel diseases, juvenile arthritis, epilepsy) living in Brighton and Hove. This role includes close collaboration with another 8a psychologist who leads on working with children with long-term conditions living outside of Brighton and Hove.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Long-Term Conditions Service offer short-term therapy, as well as consultation and training to support the needs of children diagnosed with long-term medical conditions. as a service, we draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, systemic, mindfulness, ACT and EMDR. The focus of this role would be to oversee the incoming referrals to the service and responses to these, including holding a clinical caseload and supervising the clinical work of a band 7 psychologist (and at times a trainee clinical psychologist). This role would suit a flexible and dynamic practitioner who is able to develop treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of children, young people and their families, which might include individual, parent-child, parent or group work, as well as close liaison with medical teams and other agencies. There is room for innovation within the service, with previous practitioners offering Tree of Life groups, Woodland Wellbeing days and sea swimming groups to support young people to have a different experience of themselves and build their confidence. Opportunities to develop appropriate staff training and group work is also supported where this meets a clinical need. The post-holder would be encouraged to supervise or co-supervise a trainee clinical psychologist.</p>

  <p>Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a is a gender specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs.
Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions and personality disorder services.
We accept emergency and planned, pre-assessed admissions. Our aim is to support individual service user recovery and integration back into the community, as quickly as possible. We have a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and offer a very broad range of therapies.</p>

The newly appointed clinician will join our multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapist, Community Learning Disability Nurses and Support Workers.</p>
<p>We are a lifespan service and provide a wide range of services to both adults and children with learning disabilities and physical health needs, mental health needs, forensic histories, behavioural expressions of need, and dementia, amongst other areas of work.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in collaboration with individuals, their carers, family, systems and professional colleagues to enhance health and well-being, improve quality of life for our clients and their systems, address health inequalities, and promote positive health outcomes.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be managed and professionally led by the principal clinical psychologist for North Tyneside Community Learning Disabilities Team and supervised by other qualified staff. The post combines administrative support for qualified psychologists; a clinical role, focussing on supporting our qualified staff in assessments and therapeutic interventions; and support with research/service development and audit.</p>
<p>The post-holder will be empathetic, adaptable and responsive to the needs of our patients and have experience of working with people with learning disabilities. Experience of working with dementia is also desirable. The post-holder will also demonstrate emotional resilience and a capacity to maintain a compassionate approach even in stressful situations. Experience of using psychometrics or carrying out research would be beneficial as this will be a key part of the role.</p>
