  <p>As a Family and Carer Ambassador, you will provide practical and emotional support to families and carers of those with complex mental health needs. You will also offer advocacy to ensure that the families / carers and patients' needs and views are heard and acted on, whatever their communication needs are. You will identify and address cross organisational challenges. You will work closely with key agencies across the health, education, social care and voluntary sector; this will also include links with adult services where either there are requirements for transition planning to adult services or where the families / carers are receiving adult service support.</p>  <p>To be successful in this role, you must be proactive and compassionate, have a great eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and strong communication skills. You must be passionate and sensitive about effecting change, and empowering patients, families and carers. This is a new post; therefore, although having clear parameters and expectations, there will be opportunities to shape and influence the role and build and develop important relationships with stakeholders and partners.</p>

  <p>This is a patient-facing role based within the Forensic units. he Family and Carer Ambassador will work directly with patients, their families, and carers, providing a visible and approachable presence on the ward. The role focuses on supporting meaningful engagement, promoting collaborative relationships, and ensuring that the voices of families and carers are heard and included in care discussions and recovery planning.</p>  <p>The post holder will be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), working closely alongside nurses, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, peer support workers, and other ward staff. They will contribute to daily discussions, care planning, and discharge processes, ensuring that the experiences, views, and needs of families and carers are represented and integrated into care delivery.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>ou will be a registered staff nurse and have excellent assessment, planning and evaluation skills to deliver clinical care to patients and support our Nursing Assistants.
You will coordinate and manage care ensuring that all calls are effectively assessed, triaged, allocated and recorded. You will have an overview of the service as a whole to ensure that patients and staff remain safe and care is appropriate and effective overnight. E.g. re-allocating work to cover unexpected staff absence.  At times you will be expected to work clinically and deliver direct patient care, though the majority of your role will be clinical triage via telephone. 
You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills as you will be coordinating care for a large number of complex patients.
You will provide clinical leadership, including line management of Band 5 Staff Nurses, and oversee line management of our Band 3 Nursing Assistants.
You must be able to think on your feet, problem solve and juggle conflicting priorities as well as motivate others in challenging times and utilise the resources available to you effectively.
The hours of work are 17:00pm-22:00pm over 7 days a week (including bank holidays).  The role is based from Hunslet Health Centre, though it is expected that you could travel across the city of Leeds during your shift to deliver patient care. 
It would be expected that you are available to work on a rota over 7 evenings per week, 365 days per year.

  <p>Northumberland Talking Therapies has an exciting opportunity to recruit a qualified PWP who holds accreditation with either the BABCP or BPS and is keen to develop their skills and experience within our
organisation, working to
deliver low intensity service provision to residents from the Northumberland
area. The position can be offered as a minimum of 22.5 hours or up to and including full time.</p><p>Although our PWPs currently work a combination of home based days and office days, we regret we are not able to offer a fully remote position.</p><p>The
post-holder will work within a service where caseload is monitored on booked
appointments, and which offers fantastic progression opportunities from supervisor
training to Senior PWP positions.</p><p>The
post-holder will provide low intensity interventions including a
range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management

This is an exciting time to be joining the Trust as we are looking at improving our services for people experiencing psychosis and bipolar disorder and expanding the psychological provision in our teams.</p> <p>Working across a number of community teams you will provide expertise in both direct clinical work and leadership/supervision of teams in psychological approaches to care.</p> <p>This is a key clinical leadership role, working within teams and responsible for continuing to drive and embed the significant work already undertaken to develop services for people with psychosis across Gloucestershire.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing highly-specialist advice and consultancy to staff, teams, and patients with direct responsibility for the provision of psychological services within the teams, including supervision of assistants and trainees. They will also have a key role to play in service development and quality improvement across care pathways.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role covers teams based in Gloucester, Cheltenham and across the county. All reasonable flexible working requests will be considered, but the post holder will be expected to work across sites in line with service need.</p> <p>Our specialist mental health services work with adults with severe mental health problems.
