  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) to join the NHS Talking Therapies for Depression and Anxiety delivered by NHS Talking Therapies Southwark (TTS). We are seeking enthusiastic PWPs who are passionate about developing their skills in order to help improve the lives of others. Successful applicants can expect to join a highly valued and motivated TTS workforce who are committed to develop a person-centred and effective psychological assessment and treatment service to the local population.We provide extra supervision and CPD trainings on working with specific client groups, e.g. perinatal, older adult, young people, clients presented with long-term conditions.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Our PWPs deliver low intensity CBT intervention, offer telephone or video sessions working from home or a team base, and face-to-face sessions either from the team base or from one of the GP surgeries. PWPs attend weekly team meeting, weekly individual case management supervision, and a fortnightly clinical skills supervision group. There is also a bimonthly meeting for all PWPs, their supervisors and our PWP leads, to review, discuss and develop the low intensity provision within the service.</p>

  <p>Talking Therapies Southwark has been commissioned to provide the NHS Talking Therapies for Depression and Anxiety for Southwark since 2008, and currently we have over 100 WTE staff. There are two locality-based teams, each responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients referred by, or registered with, the GP practices in their part of the borough. The south team is currently based at the Maudsley Hospital in Camberwell and the north team at the Munro Centre near London Bridge. Within each team, CBT therapists, psychologists, counsellors, psychological wellbeing practitioners and career coaches work closely together, offering assessment, psycho-educational workshops and groups, as well as individual treatment sessions covering all the NHS Talking Therapies recommended therapy modalities. The South London &amp; Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is the lead provider for the Talking Therapies Southwark partnership.</p>
<p>Our Trust headquarters is located at the Maudsley Hospital in Denmark Hill, London.   <p>Oxleas are seeking to recruit to a highly motivated, Band 8a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist to join our Greenwich team as Maternity Cover.It is an exciting time to join the team as it is a burgeoning and innovative field for perinatal psychology. Our Perinatal team offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in both adult mental health and also to develop skills in parent infant and family work. It is an ideal opportunity for psychologist with an interest in attachment, developmental psychology, infant mental health and working with family systems.</p> <p>The trust wide service is based at Queen Mary's hospital and consists of a multidisciplinary team of professionals including consultant psychiatrists, specialist perinatal nurses, clinical psychologists, CBT therapists, nursery nurses and OTs. We offer a community service for pregnant and postnatal women with severe and complex mental health difficulties. The team has close links with other services, including IAPT, secondary care mental health teams and maternity as well as third sector organisations. We work collaboratively with other services (eg maternity service and health visiting) and with experts by experience to continue to provide high quality care and are committed to ensure excellent outcomes for women and their families.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Main Clinical Duties;</p>
<p>The main clinical work undertaken is to provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for mothers and their babies and families in the community. The post holder will also offer clinical supervision to more junior staff and trainees.</p>
<p>The post holder will be involved in delivering evidence-based individual and group-based interventions. The psychological therapies team include clinical and counselling psychologists, as well as CBT therapists. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly and supportive team. There is an established reflective practice space for the whole team as well as regular individual supervision provided by the senior psychologist. Opportunities to develop supervision skills are consistently available and Oxleas has a longstanding relationship with clinical and counselling doctorate programs in taking trainees and developing the wider workforce.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to provide a rapid response, senior Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of complex patients within Emergency department, short stay unit and patients referred from the community in order to prevent admission to hospital and promote early discharge.</p> <p>In doing this you will work as part of a strong multidisciplinary team, within an interdisciplinary working model, to facilitate hospital discharge and prevent acute admission.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have strong experience as an Occupational Therapist in an Acute Therapy or Rapid Response setting. You should have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>You will be encouraged to develop your clinical, teaching and management skills through opportunities within the team and in the wider organisation. You will have support from a Clinical Specialist Lead and experienced staff across the team. Peer supervision and in service training are carried out on a regular basis and you will have an annual appraisal.</p> <p>There is excellent support for personal development and opportunities to develop the service in line with best practice. We are looking to recruit a Lead PWP into an established role to offer continued support for the PWP in delivering high quality and accessible care to adults in the borough. The post attracts inner London weighting and is ideal for a PWP with significant consolidated post qualification experience, who has ideally held the position of Senior PWP and is keen to develop leadership skills.   <p>The Lead PWP will hold a small clinical case load, provide supervision and line management to the PWP team and share responsibility for the operational running of the service with the other Step 2 lead clinicians. They will be required to work one evening session (12pm-8pm Monday to Thursday). The role will be varied, thus supporting the post holder to develop assessment, treatment, supervision, line management, leadership and project management skills. </p> <p>You will need experience of risk management and assessment, formulation and treatment of Talking Therapies appropriate disorders within a PWP framework and have some supervision and line management experience.
