We Do Social Work is recruiting an experienced Educational Psychologist to join a forward-thinking local authority committed to improving outcomes for children and young people aged 0 25.

The RoleAs an Educational Psychologist, you will use psychological theory, research and evidence-based practice to support children and young people with a wide range of learning, behavioural, emotional and developmental needs.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality psychological assessments for children and young people aged 0 25.
- Producing clear, evidence-based advice to support Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessments and Annual Reviews.
- Working closely with families, schools, colleges and partner agencies to develop effective interventions and improve outcomes.
- Supporting inclusive practice across educational settings through consultation, advice and training.
- Contributing to early intervention and preventative work that enables children and young people to thrive.
- Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
- Maintaining professional standards while contributing to service development and continuous improvement.
We're looking for an Educational Psychologist who has:
- A Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or recognised equivalent).
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience writing high-quality psychological assessments and statutory advice.
- A strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication, consultation and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for inclusion and improving outcomes for children and young people.
- The ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team.
