  <p>As an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor, you will contribute to a programme of structured, therapeutic, and recovery-focused interventions within a secure forensic mental health inpatient setting. Under the guidance of qualified Occupational Therapists, you will use music-based activities to foster creativity and self-expression, support the development of functional, cognitive, social, and emotional skills, and help service users build confidence. Your work will play an important role in supporting their rehabilitation and progression through secure care.</p>  <p>Previous experience of working with or supporting people with mental health difficulties is essential and an understanding of the benefits of using music to health and wellbeing.</p>  <p><strong>Desirable experience and skills:</strong></p> <ul>  <li>Previous experience of planning and facilitating individual and group music or creative sessions, ideally within a mental health setting or other healthcare setting, community arts or education.</li>  <li>Ability to play one or more instruments, e.g., guitar, keyboard, drums, percussion.</li>  <li>Training in audio production, sound recording, or digital music tools (e.g. Ableton, Logic Pro)</li>  <li>Experience using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to record, edit, mix, and produce music.</li>  <li>Experience of setting up and managing musical equipment safely.</li>  <li>Basic technical troubleshooting skills, e.g., tuning instruments, simple audio issues.</li>  <li>Experience of planning and organising music and/or social events.</li> </ul>

  <p>The Hellingly Centre is a modern purpose built medium secure unit specialising in the assessment and treatment of people with complex and enduring mental health needs, who have had contact with the criminal justice system.</p> <p>There are 4 specialist wards (2 male medium secure wards - Oak and Ash, 1 female medium secure ward - Blossom and 1 male low secure ward - Elm), each with a strong multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>We have a range of therapy facilities within the centre including: a gym, shop, music, woodwork and art rooms and Badger's Caf and allotment space on-site.</p> <p>The centre is situated within the beautiful Hellingly Country Park and the Cuckoo Trail is also very close by. The local town, Hailsham is under 10 minutes away by car. There is a direct bus link to Eastbourne.</p> <p>There is a small gym on-site which is available for staff to use. <p>We are currently recruiting an experienced group work facilitator, working alongside a teams of experienced Recovery Workers across our Fareham, Gosport and Havant sites.</p>
<p>The role may involve occasionally covering for other group facilitators in Hampshire, as well as supporting the hub Recovery Workers based on service need.</p>
<p>We have a bespoke structured group work programme which the Group Facilitator will be responsible for delivering, as well as additional groups based on the needs of the clients - this can include SMART groups, auricular acupuncture, mindfulness and meditation and substance specific groups.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week for a fixed term of 12 months based at the Stonebow Unit, Hereford. We would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a
minimum of 15 hours. The salary quoted is pro rata for part time hours.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience to support our current quality improvement programme on our older adult mental health inpatient wards. The post will be funded via the Royal College of Psychiatry`s Culture of Care Programme.</p><p>This programme aims to improve the culture of inpatient mental health, learning disability and autism for patients and staff so that they are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for, and fulfilling places to work.</p><p>Integrated Lived Experience takes the form of true co-production, the role focusses on creating a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for both staff and patients. There is an emphasis on developing change ideas in line with the programme alongside the wider MDT and core project team.</p><p>We can offer flexible working and will be supporting the successful applicant with training whilst in post.</p><p>The post is fixed term due to time
limited nature of the funding which will end in
12 months. We reserve the right to

Care change ideas whilst drawing on lived experiences.</p><p>

  <p>Day to do day running of our busy CT department, providing the best possible care to our patients</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative radiographer/technician who ideally has previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine, to join our small team.</p>
<p>We are a state of the art department comprising of 2 hybrid SPECT/CT scanners and 1 dual headed gamma camera. We carry out diagnostic imaging, non imaging examinations and treat benign and malignant diseases by means of our therapy service.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full range of Nuclear Medicine duties including routine scanning, processing, dispensing and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals using relevant systems of work and applications. Rotate through radio pharmacy production, and learn specialised skills such as sentinel node localisation and myocardial perfusion stress testing.</p>
