  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join our Care Team at Shooting Star Childrens Hospices.</p><p>Shooting Star Childrens
Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby,
child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or whose child has died.
Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across
Surrey, north west London and south west London from diagnosis to end of life
and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and
medical care.</p><p>Our
Care Events Team provide an extensive programme of groups and events for the 800
life limited children, their families and bereaved families. There are themed
family events, social groups for siblings of different ages, pamper days for
mums, counselling groups, bereavement cafe, memorial days and many festive
events such as ice skating at Hampton Court. Taking place at our hospices and
in the communities we serve, there are 5 to 6 events each week, offering important
opportunities for families to make memories together.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The
Care Events Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the annual programme of events. The Care Event Manager
leads the <em>Care Events Team</em>, including an Events Assistant, Events
Management Intern, Counsellor and care events volunteers, and working with family
support workers, childrens therapists and counsellors to deliver an incredible
programme of creative and inclusive experiences. The Care Events Manager works
alongside the Lead Therapist and Lead Counsellor to ensure that family support
at Shooting Star Childrens Hospices is everything the children and families
need it to be.</p><p>At a weekly meeting, the team are made aware of children
and family members who are struggling and think together about where they might
benefit from the opportunity to spend time with others who share similar
experiences or receive group therapy. Utilising professional events management
skills, each event is planned meticulously to be a safe and inviting space.
Providing this opportunity for families is integral to their mental wellbeing.</p>

  <p>We are seeking a Clinical Specialist Renal Dietitian to work in our multi-disciplinary therapy team. Lead by a Clinical Lead Renal Dietitian and Clinical Lead Renal Occupational Therapist, the team is made of dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and therapy assistants - across inpatient and outpatient settings. Our team supports people living with chronic kidney disease and urological conditions across three wards based at The Royal Free Hospital site, and 5 outpatient centres for low clearance, dialysis and transplantation. This role is a full time role based predominantly off site in the renal outpatient setting on our Haemodialysis units.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for someone who has a passion for supporting patients living with Chronic Kidney Disease. Whilst previous renal experience within Dialysis is desirable; we are keen to support dietitians who may have had exposure to renal inpatients and advanced Kidney Care, and value strong transferrable skills such as autonomous management of people with complex nutritional diagnoses, delivering patient centered care and working effectively within an MDT. Experience supporting the development of junior staff will be highly regarded, as will skills in quality improvement, service evaluation or audit. We work closely with the Adolescent teams and borough based clinical teams across the three boroughs, as well as with tier 4 (inpatient services) which are provided by the South London Partnership.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to lead the psychological provision for Isle of Dogs Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be Lead Psychologist for a vibrant multi-disciplinary team working with service users and their families presenting with diverse and complex social and health needs. You will work closely with the Operational and Clinical Leads to ensure the delivery of a high quality, accessible, and inclusive psychological service drawing on a range of psychological approaches. You will promote psychological and trauma-informed practice within the teams and wider service area through consultation (informal and formal), training and reflective practice. You will supervise a Band 7 psychologist as well as other psychological staff. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from psychology, Arts Therapy and Occupational Therapy to jointly develop a borough-wide groups therapies programme. There are significant opportunities for service development, quality improvement, and innovative practice in this post as part of the Trust's Community Health Transformation Programme.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are delighted to share a rare and exciting opportunity to join our friendly, well-established team in a brand new role at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Due to expansion and improvement of the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), we are seeking to recruit a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to be joint team lead for the acute team, and to clinically lead on delivery of the service to AMU.</p> <p>The postholder will share responsibility for leading the acute team of band 5 and 6 SLTs and a band 4 assistant alongside the other band 7 team lead, and will have access to CPD, supervision, peer support and internal and external training opportunities to develop and enhance their leadership skills.</p> <p>The successful candidate will carry a caseload of patients on AMU, including patients with and without tracheostomies, and those receiving non-invasive ventilation.
