  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical or Educational Psychologist, Arts, Occupational or Systemic Therapist with a background of working with education settings and/or experience in child and adolescent mental health, to work within a growing multi-disciplinary Mental Health Support in Schools Team (MHST). You will use your knowledge, skills, and experience to supervise trainee and qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) and contribute to the general service development and functioning.</p>
<p>You will also work closely with families, as well as colleagues in CAMHS, the Local Authority, education settings and other local services.</p>
<p><strong>You will be required to undertake, complete and pass the supervisors course at Kings (KCL) and will need to complete an application for the course alongside this job application. The course is based at Kings College London, based online or at the Denmark Hill campus and will commence in 2025.</strong></p>

  <p>Due to a review of the staffing establishment an exciting opportunity has arisen for additional Band 4 Nursery Nurses to join the team at the East London Mother &amp; Baby Unit.</p>
<p>Applicants for this position will need to be a nursery nurse with the appropriate training, experience of working with babies and who are able to demonstrate interest in Perinatal Mental Health.</p>
<p>Working in a Mother &amp; Baby Unit is a unique role for nursery nurses to work within an inpatient mental health ward, supporting babies and their mothers who are experiencing mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>The East London Mother and Baby unit is a 12 bedded unit based within the City &amp; Hackney Centre for Mental Health.</p>
<p>This family-centred specialist Mother and Baby Unit cares for people who experience severe mental health difficulties during the later stages of pregnancy and following the birth. The mothers are either experiencing mental health problems ante-natally or up to one year post-natally and require direct support in ensuring care of the infant is upheld whilst supporting the mother through their own recovery.</p>
<p>The ward team consists of registered mental health nurses, nursery nurses, social therapists and a life skills recovery worker. This work is further enhanced in therapy by a psychologist, occupational therapist, parent-infant psychotherapist, art therapist and dance movement therapist.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a sound knowledge of caring effectively for infants under 1 year and to use this knowledge to teach and guide colleagues and mums.</p> <p>Assess and implementcare for infants and ensuring needs are met and that mum is supported to provide safe and effective care to baby.</p> <p>To contribute to the development of standards of care for both mothers and babies on the unit, proving feedback as necessary and taking positive steps towards implementing necessary change</p> <p>To support wider family network as necessary around knowledge and care of babies.</p> <p>Any successful applicant will also be expected to support the City and Hackney Centre for Mental Health in providing care and treatment and upholding the safety of both patients and staff within the unit.</p> <p>You will be expected to work Long days, nights and weekends.   <p>An exciting position has arisen for a psychologist or CBT therapist to join the Havering Early Intervention Psychosis Team for 6 months, fixed-term.</p>
<p>The post holder will join a well-established early intervention in psychosis service for people with a psychotic diagnosis and their families.</p>
<p>The post holder will join the EIP team, delivering CBT for psychosis with people aged between 14-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.</p>
<p>The post will suit enthusiastic psychologist or CBT therapist with an interest in developing their skills in applying evidence-based psychological therapies with this client group and working with multi-disciplinary teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for this client group . The post holder will be expected to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and offer support on psychological approaches to working with psychosis.</p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to participate in supervision and CPD focused on evidence-based interventions in psychosis.</p>
<p>In addition, the post holder will receive individual supervision and group supervision in CBT for psychosis. The service has practitioners interested in Narrative Exposure Therapy, EMDR and Family Intervention for Psychosis amongst other approaches.</p>
<p>The Trust has strong links with the UCL, UEL and Royal Holloway clinical psychology courses, several Counselling Psychology courses and the UCL CBTp diploma. Current members of the department are engaged in teaching and research projects with local clinical training courses.</p>
