<p><strong>We are looking for a person who is passionate about providing excellent care to the adult acute mental health population, and who want to contribute to the therapeutic input provided for people using our services at our site in Radlett.</strong></p>
<p>The Recreational Worker organises and provides a predominantly ward-based recreational/leisure service, based on the adult acute mental health wards.</p>
<p>The activities they facilitate occur alongside therapeutic interventions from the Occupational Therapy service, Psychology, Arts therapies and the ward Nursing Team to enhance a service user's stay in hospital.</p>
<p>The recreational service is provided during afternoons, evenings, weekends and bank holidays</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>You will organise and provide a predominantly ward-basedrecreational/leisure servicesuch as gardening groups, craft sessions, music activities, sports/active sessions, facilitating gym sessions, games, etc.</li>  <li>You will be based on the adult acute mental health wards where service users require support for a range of diagnoses such as psychosis, depression, or anxiety.</li>  <li>The recreational service is provided during afternoons, evenings and weekends and so the role requires working in the early evenings until 8pm and on the weekends 9 -5.</li>  <li>The team consists of a Lead and Head Occupational Therapist, Band 6 and 5 Occupational Therapists, Assistant Therapy Practitioners, and a Horticultural Therapist.   <p>We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our dynamic Diabetes Psychology Team (30 hours per week).</p> <p>If you are an enthusiastic and motivated clinician with experience in working with people with diabetes or Long-Term Conditions (LTC), and you are passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and service development, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team and be involved in a key service development project. Regular supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for delivering a specialist psychology service to patients living with Type 2 diabetes in Well Street Common PCN and Hackney Marshes PCN.</p> <p>Your work within the Diabetes Psychology team will be central to improving patient engagement, self-management, and overall outcomes, with a specific focus on addressing health inequalities. This includes identifying and working with patients who struggle to attend appointments, as well as providing one-to-one and group-based support for individuals struggling with diabetes related distress. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are recruiting a <strong>part-time (30 hours per week) substantive Band 7 CAMHS Clinician</strong>to join the <strong>Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT)</strong>within <strong>ELFT South Bedfordshire CAMHS</strong>, based in Luton. This is a community-focused role providing a highly specialist mental health service to children, young people, and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.</p> <p>As part of the ELFT AMHT, the post holder will deliver comprehensive specialist assessments and formulation-driven treatment packages, offering flexible, evidence-based episodes of care for adolescents presenting with a range of complex and high-risk mental health difficulties. You will work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive, and dynamic multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure that young people receive the highest standard of care.</p> <p>We are ideally looking for a <strong>Social Worker or Registered Mental Health Nurse</strong>who also has a background in therapeutic practice, such as <strong>Psychotherapy, Art Therapy, or Family/Systemic Therapy</strong>. The successful candidate will be able to <strong>provide specialist therapeutic interventions within an adolescent CAMHS setting</strong>, tailoring evidence-based approaches to meet the needs of young people with complex mental health difficulties and supporting their families.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Working as a <strong>care coordinator</strong>within ELFT AMHT, you will hold a defined caseload and provide both direct clinical work and care coordination, ensuring safe and effective care planning, risk management, and multi-agency liaison. The post offers opportunities to contribute to service development, engage in reflective practice, and deliver specialist therapeutic interventions aligned with ELFT's commitment to high-quality, person-centred, and recovery-focused care.</p> <p>The AMHT is a well-functioning multi-disciplinary team within South Bedfordshire CAMHS. The team includesPsychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, a Systemic Family Therapist, a Clinical Psychologist, an OccupationalTherapist, and a Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist.The team model includes both joint and individual work with young people and their families. We offer arange of interventions, including:- Therapeutic care coordination- Systemic family therapy- Individual therapy (CBT, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, narrative therapy)- Psychiatric assessment and management</p>
