  <p>We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate your commitment to providing high quality care and counselling for depression at Step 3. You will be delivering counselling for depression using a stepped care model in line with the national IAPT programme and latest NICE guidance for psychological interventions. The role involves delivering one to one Counselling, Assessments and therapeutic groups.</p>
<p>You must demonstrate a commitment to Continuing Professional Development and be prepared to attend training in the Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CFD) IAPT training at Metanoia with a desirable commitment to Mind Matters of 1.5 years post training completion/award of qualification (not just attending the course).</p>

To treat common mental health problems, including mood and adjustment disorders and other problems not of a severity requiring multidisciplinary specialist mental health services.</p>
<p>Be able to make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary. To make an assessment of risk for patient and others and take appropriate action when necessary.</p>

  <p><strong>We currently have 2 full-time and 1 part-time Clinical Psychologist/ CBT Therapist/ Senior Mental Health Clinician Band 7 vacancies in MHST - 1x Full Time (37.5 hours a week) based at Unither House Chertsey, 1x Full-time based at either Unither House, Chertsey or Trust HQ, Leatherhead, 1 x part time ( 30 hours a week) based at Unither House Chertsey.</strong></p> <p>We invite you to consider being involved in this exciting opportunity to help to deliver the governments vision and commitment to develop integrated mental health teams in schools.</p> <p>Building on existing 'whole school approaches' to mental health and wellbeing, Surrey is developing new MHSTs to work with selected primary and secondary schools to increase access to mental health interventions for children and young people up to the age of 18 years.</p> <p>Our MHSTs have 3 core functions; supporting families and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties by delivering evidence-based interventions in schools; providing timely advice and consultation to schools, and supporting schools to deliver whole school approaches to mental health and wellbeing. Each MHST is co-located in schools, operating from the four main geographical hubs, with services delivered across the cluster of schools for each area.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Senior Clinician you will be mentoring and/or supervising the development of EMHPs in your team, building a culture of high-quality clinical practice. You will grow and nurture trainees and newly qualified EMHPs, utilising your experience and skills to ensure they develop into well rounded clinicians.</p>
<p>You will take the lead in building relationships with senior leaders in schools, providing regular case consultation, support and advice, and being a 'link' to the wider children's mental health services. Together with the Clinical Lead and educational psychologists, you will develop programmes of work to support schools with their whole school approach goals, enabling more sustainable, holistic change. Finally, you will hold a small caseload, delivering direct interventions to CYP and families.</p>
<p>We are looking to build a multi-disciplinary team whose strength comes from the variety of skills and experience brought by each team member. Thus, we welcome applications from candidates from range of professional backgrounds including, but not exclusively, CBT Therapy, Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapists, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapists, Child Psychotherapy and Mental Health Nurses.</p>

  <p>The Hounslow Occupational Therapy Team are seeking a dynamic and experienced therapist to join as a Preschool and Sensory Feeding Service Team Lead.</p>  <p>Hounslow Children's Occupational Therapy Service is a well-integrated team.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p> Delivery and co-ordination of services for children who have complex Occupational Therapy related needs, as relevant to the Preschool and Feeding services.</p> <p> Identify and carry out service development projects to enhance quality of service delivery</p> <p> Identify the need, plan and deliver specialist training to the Occupational Therapy Team and other educational and health professionals.</p> <p> Joint working with relevant professionals in the field of health, education, the voluntary sector and social services.</p> <p> Deliver highly specialist clinical skills including evidence-based assessment and intervention for a diverse and highly complex caseload. </p> <p> To provide highly specialist advice to parents/carers and other professionals.</p> <p> To provide highly specialist reports, therapy programmes and other types of complex written information.</p>
