  <p>The department has the benefit of cutting-edge CT and MRI technology and provides staff with the exciting opportunity to work with the latest Canon Aquilion One CT scanner and 3T MRI technology in a clinical setting. The department is equipped with 6 CT scanners and 3 MRI scanners with all staff encouraged to rotate through both modalities.</p><p>We opened a new Emergency Department in November 2024 and therefore are expanding our current team.We are a busy, progressive unit, with a very friendly and caring atmosphere, currently operating a 12hr shift system over 7 days.   <p>This is a great opportunity to join our Living Well Service in Bolton. We have a 30.00 hour per week position available for a Peer Support Worker with lived experience. The successful postholder will be expected to work 6.5 hrs per day over 5 days, Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm</p>
<p>Living Well is now fully operational in Bolton, and you will be given the opportunity to bring your experience and knowledge to the continued development of our service.</p>
<p>You will be based at the South Bolton hub in Farnworth, but will be expected to travel across Bolton, including our hub for North Bolton, based in Horwich.</p>
<p>This role has been developed specifically for people who have lived experience of mental health or a dual diagnosis such as mental health and substance misuse and neurodiversity to support others who may benefit from peer support in addition to other treatment and interventions.</p>

You will demonstrate experience and a strong commitment to working with people accessing acute mental health services and the ability to use your arts therapies skills and experience to deliver psychological interventions in a hospital setting. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team is a core requirement of the role as well as the ability to be flexible and integrate your practice within the broader work of the service.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have excellent team working and group work skills and will demonstrate an ability to facilitate arts therapy groups and individual sessions in ward environments.   <p>The dynamic Physiotherapy department at King's College Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the rotation of Band 6 physiotherapists specialising in respiratory care across inpatient and community settings.</p>

  <p>King's College Hospital is a specialist tertiary referral centre for liver disease, neurosurgery, cardio-thoracics, cystic fibrosis, haematology and major trauma. The Trust has recently opened a new 60-bedded critical care unit, allowing the successful candidate a chance to work in an innovatively designed, state-of-the-art critical care unit.</p> <p>The inpatient respiratory team is split into three teams, each with its own Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. The teams are Critical Care, Respiratory Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis. The community services also have their own Clinical Leads, and there is a Consultant Respiratory Physiotherapist in Respiratory Medicine.</p> <p>There is a strong drive to participate in research at Kings, and the Respiratory team regularly submits posters and publications at national and international levels.Continuing professional development is encouraged through the appraisal system, and there is a well-established in-service education programme. Attendance at post-registration courses is supported, and there are comprehensive library and computer facilities on site.</p>

While this post is primarily based at St George's Hospital, the post holder may also be required to work at Croydon University Hospital as part of our specialist services.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Biomedical Scientist with significant experience in cytology who holds the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Diagnostic Cytology.</p>
<p>The main duties of this role will include both clinical and technical responsibilities, such as attending EBUS and Head and Neck Clinics to provide real-time ROSE (Rapid On-Site Evaluation) adequacy assessments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting negative, atypical, and malignant cytology cases, in line with the scope of the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Diagnostic Cytology. Additionally, the role involves participation in the day-to-day management of the cytology laboratory as well as broader managerial duties.</p>
<p>Our modern Cellular Pathology Department processes over 60,000 cases annually across 10 specialties, while the cytology laboratory handles approximately 5,000 cases per year. We are proud to be at the forefront of innovation, supported by state-of-the-art equipment including the Ventana Ultra Plus, Leica Bond Prime platforms, Dako Artisan Special Stainer, and the Dream Path block and slide storage solution.</p>
<p>As part of our transformation journey, we are actively implementing Leica digital pathology technology, with an exciting go-live target of September 2025. Additionally, a dedicated immunohistochemistry laboratory is currently under construction, with completion scheduled for August 2025--firmly placing us on the path to the future of diagnostics.</p>
