  <p>The dynamic Physiotherapy department at King's College Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the rotation of Band 6 physiotherapists specialising in respiratory care across inpatient and community settings.</p>
<p>The rotations are eight monthly and are in the following areas:</p>
<ul>
<li>Critical Care (organised over six separate units), each with its own speciality bias, including: Liver, Major Trauma and Neurosurgery</li>
<li>Medicine and Non-Invasive Ventilation</li>
<li>Cystic Fibrosis</li>
<li>Pulmonary Rehab and Community Integrated Respiratory service, including admission avoidance and home care</li>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>King's College Hospital is a specialist tertiary referral centre for liver disease, neurosurgery, cardio-thoracics, cystic fibrosis, haematology and major trauma. The Trust has recently opened a new 60-bedded critical care unit, allowing the successful candidate a chance to work in an innovatively designed, state-of-the-art critical care unit.</p> <p>The inpatient respiratory team is split into three teams, each with its own Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. The teams are Critical Care, Respiratory Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis. The community services also have their own Clinical Leads, and there is a Consultant Respiratory Physiotherapist in Respiratory Medicine.</p> <p>There is a strong drive to participate in research at Kings, and the Respiratory team regularly submits posters and publications at national and international levels.Continuing professional development is encouraged through the appraisal system, and there is a well-established in-service education programme. Attendance at post-registration courses is supported, and there are comprehensive library and computer facilities on site.</p>

  <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Biomedical Scientist with significant experience in cytology who holds the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Diagnostic Cytology.</p>
<p>The main duties of this role will include both clinical and technical responsibilities, such as attending EBUS and Head and Neck Clinics to provide real-time ROSE (Rapid On-Site Evaluation) adequacy assessments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting negative, atypical, and malignant cytology cases, in line with the scope of the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Diagnostic Cytology. Additionally, the role involves participation in the day-to-day management of the cytology laboratory as well as broader managerial duties.</p>
<p>Our modern Cellular Pathology Department processes over 60,000 cases annually across 10 specialties, while the cytology laboratory handles approximately 5,000 cases per year. We are proud to be at the forefront of innovation, supported by state-of-the-art equipment including the Ventana Ultra Plus, Leica Bond Prime platforms, Dako Artisan Special Stainer, and the Dream Path block and slide storage solution.</p>
<p>As part of our transformation journey, we are actively implementing Leica digital pathology technology, with an exciting go-live target of September 2025.   <p>To provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to children and young people who are in the care system and their care givers, with complex and severe mental health problems. Clinically, the post-holder will be responsible for individual case management and will be expected to conduct specialist psychological assessments, produce complex formulations, and deliver direct therapeutic work. They will also provide specialist advice and consultation to a range of multiagency professionals and non-professional carers, and utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development.</p>  <p>The post holder will support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other clinicians involved in the service and be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines, exercising full clinical responsibility, implementing changes where necessary whilst following the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding inpatient perinatal mental health service.</p>
<p><strong>The role of peer support worker (PSW) has been developed specifically for a person who has birthed a baby and is now their main carer, and who has a lived experience of perinatal mental health requiring them to receive support from mental health services throughout recovery.</strong></p>
<p>. Through sharing wisdom from their own experiences, peer support workers will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.</p>
<p>As an integral and highly valued member of the multi-disciplinary team, the PSW will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users/partners in order for them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process. Within a relationship of mutuality and information sharing, they will promote choice, self-determination and opportunities for the fulfilment of socially valued roles and connection to local communities. The PSW will act as a recovery champion within the team and an ambassador of recovery for the Trust with external agencies and partner organisations.</p>

  <p>We are looking for a well motivated, committed and enthusiastic part time individual, to join our friendly and progressive team. We offer diagnostic and rehabilitative services to both Adults and Paediatrics including Newborn Hearing Screening. The role will provide support as part of our busy Admin team and provide basic hearing aid support for patients and their families when required. Training will be provided within the department for use of our Audiology database and basic hearing aid support.</p>
<p>We are committed to providing peer support and career development. We have close links with Leeds and Aston University regarding student placement and training.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will primarily support the Admin function including dealing with patients/carers and their families face to face, on the telephone and via email. This will included managing the patient booking system, dealing with patient referrals and processing appointments. The post holder will also be providing direct patient care, in the form of basic hearing aid support when required. The post holder will work within a range of procedures and pathways in which they have received training in order to become competent.</p>
<p>In pursuing these duties the post holder will ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution</p>

The post holders will use their own personal experiences of managing older age mental health and recovery, to provide hope, empathy and a different practical perspective through support, dialogue and acting as a role model.</p><p>They will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality care is carried out in accordance with policies and procedures Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust.</p><p>The ability to work in partnership with carers/family members and services in the community is essential.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will use their personal experiences of either their own recovery from older age mental health or providing care and support to people with older age functional mental health or dementia challenges, to offer empathy and understanding to others, inspiring hope and belief that recovery is possible. In this role, the peer worker will offer empathetic support alongside practical assistance in order to empower people to feel in control of their lives and their own unique recovery process. Within a relationship of mutuality and information sharing, they will promote choice, self-determination and opportunities for the fulfilment of socially valued roles and connection to local communities.</p><p>The Peer Support Worker will act as a recovery champion within the team, and an ambassador for recovery for the Trust when working with external agencies and partner organisations. Peer workers will also be supported to continue their own personal and professional development as well as taking part in the ongoing development of peer roles in the Trust.</p>
