  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Occupational Therapy Assistant rotation.</p>
<p>Staff participate in 6 monthly rotations, upskilling in different clinical specialties and exploring new learning opportunities. Rotational areas include general medicine, care of the elderly, elective and trauma orthopaedics, neurology and surgery.</p>
<p>As a Trust we're committed to supporting the education and development of our staff. There are regular peer support meetings, teaching, and clinical learning frameworks to support specialty learning. We also support applications for substantive staff to complete the Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship where appropriate.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide a high standard of care as part of the Occupational Therapy Service working within agreed pathways, but without direct supervision:</p> <p>To manage and prioritise designated caseload, working without direct supervision, carrying out assessment and treatment planning of patients who have not previously been assessed by a qualified therapist. However, a qualified therapist will always be available for advice and guidance when necessary.</p> <p>To hold a defined area of responsibility within the team.</p> <p>To deliver and fit equipment in patients' homes and instruct them in its safe use.</p> <p>To carry out Access assessment visits to patients' homes either alone or with another member of staff.</p> <p>To carry out Home Visits as the '2nd person'.</p> <p>To carry out administrative duties within the department to support the Occupational Therapy service</p> <p>Please see the attached Job Description for full details.</p>

Rotational Occupational Therapy Assistant

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed assistant psychologist to perform at a band 4, and join our well established service in adult mental health for people who live in South West Kent and Maidstone (West).</p> <p>The post holder will be based for 2.5 days at Albion Place in Maidstone and 2.5 days at Highlands House in Tunbridge Wells within the Psychological Therapies service which includes psychological clinicians of several disciplines.</p> <p>We work closely with our colleagues in both tertiary and Community Mental Health Together and MHT Plus team.</p> <p>You would participate in weekly meetings, which included peer group supervision and group supervision from an external supervisor, in addition to individual management and clinical supervision. <strong>There will be a requirement to travel between our Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells trust sites in a timely manner.</strong></p> <p>As a team, we offer a comprehensive service to adults with complex and longstanding mental health conditions and emotional difficulties. We offer individual therapy including EMDR and various group interventions including MBT, Art therapy, DBT and also have a Systemic Family Therapy team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To participate in the provision of direct clinical work through the delivery of manualised psychologically informed structured interventions as part of Psychological Services to adults with mental health difficulties within the community &amp; recovery service line of Kent &amp; Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.</p> <p>In particular:</p> <ul>  <li>To deliver 'initial interventions' to people accessing adult mental health services as part of the Clinical Care Pathways in the CMHT. Specific and targeted training will be provided by experienced Psychological Practitioners and all interventions supported by weekly clinical supervision from Psychological Practitioners.</li>  <li>To undertake other structured therapeutic psychological interventions in an identified service or services using own independent initiative within guidelines provided by a qualified psychologist.</li>  <li>To undertake clinical and service performance related administration, audit and research projects, teaching and service improvement project work under the professional guidance of a qualified psychologist. This includes overseeing the clinical outcomes project for psychological therapies across the North Kent directorate</li>  <li>To undertake training in the delivery of the CBT informed intervention known as 'Initial Interventions' delivered by a group of specialist psychological practitioners</li>  <li>To provide psychological guidance and support to carers and families of service users under clinical supervision of a psychological therapist.</li> </ul>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified psychology graduate to contribute to the Dementia Assessment and Support service (DASS) here in Shropshire.</p> <p>This post is for a fixed term of 12 months, full-time. It is anticipated that we will not be able to acquire additional funding for an extension of the post after this time.</p> <p>The post will provide an opportunity to develop clinical skills and competencies working in a specialist service. The post would also be suitable for a graduate with strong research skills who wishes to pivot towards a more clinical role.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will specifically focus on providing psychologically informed reviews of clients and carers known to our service and additionally, the collation and analysis of significant volumes of complex audit data.</p> <p>Firstly, your working time will be providing a holistic assessment of client and carer needs and drawing on additional team support or signposting to relevant external agencies. <em>This will be intensive work with clearly defined objectives and expectations.</em></p> <p>Additionally, you will undertake a project to collate over a decade of neuropsychological test data relevant to the assessment and diagnosis of clients, summarise this data and produce reports and papers based on the findings.</p> <p>There may also be additional scope for initial history taking and information gathering of clients who are awaiting further assessment within our assessment and diagnosis pathway.</p> <p>Much of your client contact will be telephone or video based. Quality and Practice Lead

  <p>A rare and exciting opportunity to work in a paid full time training role as a Systemic Family Practitioner (SFP) in Calderdale.</p><p>We are currently recruiting for a new training post to start the Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence Based interventions to commence in January 2026.</p><p>SFP trainees provide low intensity interventions for anxiety, depression and conduct problems including guided self-help.</p><p>The trainee will work with Invictus Wellbeing in Calderdale, with employment as a qualified SFP on successful completion of the 12 month training course (funding allowing)</p><p>The post is part of the Children and Young Peoples Psychological Trainings initiative which is intended to increase and upskill the children &amp; young peoples mental health workforce.</p><p>Applicants should have experience of supporting children and young people with their mental health/wellbeing. They need to be willing to undertake an intensive training course and they must be able to demonstrate the aptitude to study at Level 7.</p><p>The 1 year full time training course is provided by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with the University of Manchester and trainees will study in person for one or two days per week. The rest of the working week will be based in-service using the skills gained during the training.</p><p>Trainee CYWPs are paid on NHS Agenda For Change pay band 5 (or equivalent), and will progress to NHS band 6 (or equivalent) on successful completion of the 12 month training.</p>

The Neighbourhood Night Service operates from 20:45  07:15, seven days per week.

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be a registered staff nurse and have excellent assessment, planning and evaluation skills to ensure that patient care is timely and appropriate.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. 
Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and providing support to families/carers overnight during different crisis situations  ie, blocked catheters and palliative care support.  
This is a fast paced role requiring safe and effective clinical decision making, so you must be able to think on your feet, problem solve issues that arise overnight and juggle conflicting priorities. You must be able to motivate others in challenging times and utilise the resources available to you effectively.
