  <p>We are looking for 12 month maternity cover to the Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner role within the North Bristol CAMHS team.</p> <p>We are a service working withchildren and young people with complex mental health needs. We use the CAPA model of assessment and treatment, which would involve working with a variety of clinical presentations and needs, including: suicidal thoughts, low mood, anxiety, OCD and emerging psychosis, often alongside neurodiversity. We also have a lot of referrals for young people with disordered eating and diagnosed Eating Disorders, and there are opportunities to work within this clinic if this is something you are interested in.</p> <p>We are looking for a practitioner with a core professional registration, including registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapists, art therapists and CBT therapists.</p> <p>North Bristol is an area of significant disparities in health, wealth and access. <p>We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Clinical PACS Specialist Radiographer to join our friendly team here at the Great Western Hospital.</p>
<p>The Great Western Hospital are currently undergoing a PACS and RIS replacement project in their Radiology department and are looking to expand the clinical PACS team. This role remains as a clinical Radiographer working on a rotational basis and will require participation in the out of hours and weekend rota.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Radiographer with NHS experience and a special interest in digital systems, looking to increase their knowledge and work with state-of-the-art equipment. This role currently includes a 5% recruitment and retention premium which is reviewed annually.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Radiology Department undertakes approximately 251,300 examinations a year ranging over a variety of modalities. The successful applicant will be a keen team player who has image quality and patient care high on their agenda with a flexible approach to working hours. The department supports the development of your clinical skills and education, we encourage staff CPD.</p> <p>The Great Western Hospital conducts diagnostic radiological examinations across a range of clinical specialities, adapting techniques to accommodate a range of patient types; both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a manner that meets professional, departmental and legal requirements.</p> <p>To ensure the effective and efficient provision of Picture Archiving and Communication systems (PACS) and Radiology information systems (RIS), in the clinical setting of the Radiology Department.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Variety:</strong> You will have the chance to work with a wide range of complex presentations including affective disorders, psychosis, and personality, and using a variety of methods and approaches. With assessments, individual therapies, group therapies, family interventions, MDT working, complex case meetings, indirect interventions using a Positive Behaviour Support framework, and supervision all part of the role, it's safe to say that no two days will feel the same! Many of our Psychologists in acute services find that the switching really helps to stay energised.</p>
<p><strong>Fast-paced:</strong> You will get to be reflexive; formulating problems, identifying with teams when attempted solutions create a new or different problem, and supporting teams to remove barriers to discharge and supporting people to have an independent and personally meaningful life outside of hospital.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified psychology graduate to contribute to the Dementia Assessment and Support service (DASS) here in Shropshire.</p> <p>This post is for a fixed term of 12 months, full-time. It is anticipated that we will not be able to acquire additional funding for an extension of the post after this time.</p> <p>The post will provide an opportunity to develop clinical skills and competencies working in a specialist service. The post would also be suitable for a graduate with strong research skills who wishes to pivot towards a more clinical role.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post will specifically focus on providing psychologically informed reviews of clients and carers known to our service and additionally, the collation and analysis of significant volumes of complex audit data.</p> <p>Firstly, your working time will be providing a holistic assessment of client and carer needs and drawing on additional team support or signposting to relevant external agencies. <em>This will be intensive work with clearly defined objectives and expectations.</em></p> <p>Additionally, you will undertake a project to collate over a decade of neuropsychological test data relevant to the assessment and diagnosis of clients, summarise this data and produce reports and papers based on the findings.</p> <p>There may also be additional scope for initial history taking and information gathering of clients who are awaiting further assessment within our assessment and diagnosis pathway.</p> <p>Much of your client contact will be telephone or video based. Audit work will require spending considerable time at the clinical base in Shrewsbury. There will be an expectation of some face-to-face work with clients across a large, rural geographical region.</p>

  <p>A rare and exciting opportunity to work in a paid full time training role as a Systemic Family Practitioner (SFP) in Calderdale.</p><p>We are currently recruiting for a new training post to start the Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence Based interventions to commence in January 2026.</p><p>SFP trainees provide low intensity interventions for anxiety, depression and conduct problems including guided self-help.</p><p>The trainee will work with Invictus Wellbeing in Calderdale, with employment as a qualified SFP on successful completion of the 12 month training course (funding allowing)</p><p>The post is part of the Children and Young Peoples Psychological Trainings initiative which is intended to increase and upskill the children &amp; young peoples mental health workforce.</p><p>Applicants should have experience of supporting children and young people with their mental health/wellbeing. They need to be willing to undertake an intensive training course and they must be able to demonstrate the aptitude to study at Level 7.</p><p>The 1 year full time training course is provided by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with the University of Manchester and trainees will study in person for one or two days per week. The rest of the working week will be based in-service using the skills gained during the training.</p><p>Trainee CYWPs are paid on NHS Agenda For Change pay band 5 (or equivalent), and will progress to NHS band 6 (or equivalent) on successful completion of the 12 month training.</p>
