  <p>1 X Fixed Term Contract @ 30 hours per week</p> <p>1 x Permanent @ 30 hours per week</p> <p>This role is based at Highpoint House, Shooters Hill, within Greenwich CAMHS, part of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder is accountable to the Greenwich CAMHS Operational Manager.</p> <p><strong>Purpose of the Role</strong></p> <p>The CAMHS Specialist supports the implementation of service and trust initiatives, monitors and evaluates care quality, and manages a caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs. The role requires independent working, leadership in clinical practice, andactive participation in a multidisciplinary team.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 7 Prosthetist to join the NHS prosthetic service based in Rookwood Hospital, Cardiff. This role involves delivering a high quality prosthetic service across both adult and paediatric caseloads including those with complex needs. The successful candidate will also provide a highly specialised service for war veterans, utilising advanced techniques and state of the art prosthetics.</p>
<p>The Prosthetic and Amputee Rehabilation Centre ( PARC) in Cardiff provides care and support for approximately 1700 users. The service provides individualised assessment, the issue, maintenance and repair of prosthetic devices and ongoing clinical patient care. The prosthetic team currently consists of 9 Prosthetists and 11 technical staff offering a clinical service to a large and varied caseload supported by a full multidisciplinary team. The multidisciplinary team consist of consultants, prosthetists, psychologists, physiotherapists, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, admin and technical support, all working together in a patient focussed service. The prosthetic clinical service is supported by onsite manufacture by a highly skilled technical workforce.</p>

  <p>The Hellingly Centre is a modern purpose built medium secure unit specialising in the assessment and treatment of people with complex and enduring mental health needs, who have had contact with the criminal justice system.</p> <p>There are 4 specialist wards (2 male medium secure wards - Oak and Ash, 1 female medium secure ward - Blossom and 1 male low secure ward - Elm), each with a strong multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>We have a range of therapy facilities within the centre including: a gym, shop, music, woodwork and art rooms and Badger's Caf and allotment space on-site.</p> <p>The centre is situated within the beautiful Hellingly Country Park and the Cuckoo Trail is also very close by. The local town, Hailsham is under 10 minutes away by car. There is a direct bus link to Eastbourne.</p> <p>There is a small gym on-site which is available for staff to use.   <p><strong>Art Psychotherapist - Band 7 - Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team (FIRST)</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a 0.6 WTE Band 7 Art Psychotherapist to join the Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team (FIRST), a specialist forensic community mental health team based in Rubery, South Birmingham and covering the West Midlands area. The aim of the service is to contribute to the successful transition of adult service users with significant risk histories and mental health difficulties out of secure inpatient services and support their continued recovery and risk management in the community.</p> <p>With our art therapist due to move onto a new role in the Trust shortly, we are keen to maintain art therapy provision in FIRST, as this has been highly valued within the service. The role within our vibrant community team includes delivering specialist art therapy assessments and interventions on an individual basis with service users, with the potential for facilitating group interventions too; providing specialist advice and consultation to multi-disciplinary colleagues; supporting the delivery of reflective practice for staff; and contributing to the ongoing development and evaluation of art therapy within FIRST and wider Secure Care.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be joining our friendly Psychological Therapies team in FIRST, which includes practitioner psychologists, specialist psychological practitioner, assistant psychologists, all of whom have developed strong appreciation of the beneficial role art therapy can play in our service users' ongoing recovery.. You will be supported by the Head of Arts Psychotherapies within the Trust and have regular clinical supervision from an Art Psychotherapist. In addition, the Division funds forensic arts therapy group supervision and encourages attendance at local and Trust-wide development meetings for Arts Psychotherapists. This ensures ongoing development of your skills and knowledge, whilst offering the opportunity to build links across the breadth of Art Psychotherapies that are provided in Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.</p> <p>To get a real experience of what we are like as a team, and what we hope you can do with us supporting you along the way, you are very welcome to visit us.</p> <p>Please note - Due to FIRST being a community service that covers a wide geographical area, this role would typically involve some regular travelling to areas within the West Midlands area.</p> <p></p>
