Grow your skills with expert guidance - you will receive regular supervision from a qualified professional, such as an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist. This ensures you're always learning and delivering the highest quality of care.
Collaborate and communicate effectively - you'll liaise with other health providers to ensure seamless continuity of care and communicate sensitive information to promote effective teamwork and positive outcomes for clients.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen within Adult Secure Care for a full time, permanent, Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist. </strong></p>
<p>This is a development post, the successful applicant will be employed in a band 5 role whilst they follow a preceptorship programme, on successful completion of this programme they will move into a band 6 role.</p>
<p>We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop their skills and knowledge in this area. We welcome applications from speech and language therapists who are already qualified and those who will qualify this academic year. </p>
<p>You will work into the Adult Secure Care Services as part of an MDT offering a service at the Sycamore Unit, Northgate Park, Morpeth, as well as helping adults move out of hospital to live in the community. </p>
<p>The secure care service is a regional and national service offering care and treatment to adults with diagnoses of learning disabilities, mental health conditions and personality disorders who are offenders and are cared for within conditions of medium and low security.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will have some knowledge and experience of working with adults who have complex needs and ideally some experience of working in a secure inpatient setting. </p>
<p>You will need to be confident in providing high quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions and have an understanding and experience of working with people with a range of complex issues from a variety of settings and environments. </p>
<p>Under the support and supervision of specialist and advanced speech and language therapists, you will work to support service users to achieve their therapeutic goals by supporting their language and communication skills. You will provide a range of communication interventions with service users both directly and indirectly. </p>
<p>There will be a requirement to share knowledge and skills specific to speech and language therapy to other members of the team including stakeholders. You will liaise closely with fellow professionals to address communication and eating/drinking difficulties as part of a holistic, service user centred service. You will contribute to care plans and provide high quality service user centred care.</p>
<p>You will receive regular support, training and opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge. We actively encourage professional development and provide opportunities for all in the speech and language therapy teams to contribute to the development of the Speech and Language Therapy service.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic Psychological Therapist to join Greenwich ADAPT (Anxiety, Depression, Affective disorders, Personality disorders &amp; Trauma) a secondary care multidisciplinary service providing place-based care for people living in the Borough of Greenwich.</p> <p>You will have a passion for working in multidisciplinary teams supporting people with emotional regulation and interpersonal difficulties. We are particularly interested in candidates with interest, experience and/or training in mentalisation-based therapy (MBT) as the successful candidate will join our MBT team. Broader groupwork or group analytic skills are also welcome.</p> <p>You will join a dynamic and skilled Psychological Therapies Team comprised of psychologists, psychotherapists, cognitive behavioural therapists, art therapist, assistant psychologist, a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner, as well as trainees. The service offers a range of modalities including MBT (Mentalisation-based therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapist), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), art therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and MBCT (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy). The team also work closely with the wider MDT to provide Structured Clinical Management (SCM). New developments this year include the planned launch of a comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme, and the service is acting as a site for a randomised controlled trial evaluating a trauma focused adaption of MBT.</p>

  <p>To provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to children and young people who are in the care system and their care givers, with complex and severe mental health problems. Clinically, the post-holder will be responsible for individual case management and will be expected to conduct specialist psychological assessments, produce complex formulations, and deliver direct therapeutic work.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the occupational therapy team at the John Elliot Unit.</p>
<p>The post-holder will independently manage a case load of clients with identified recovery and inclusion support needs with supervision and support from the Senior Occupational Therapist. The role will involve supporting clients with practical issues that may lengthen their stay in hospital if not resolved, for example housing, benefits, debt, and other social issues. The applicant must be able to work in a client-centred way and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills to manage complex and time sensitive situations. The applicant must be able to demonstrate a means to travel around the trust footprint because home environment assessments are an essential part of the role.</p>
<p>We are looking for somebody with an excellent knowledge of, and practical experience of working withthe current housing and benefits systems.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<li>To liaise with external agencies to resolve issues relating to benefits, housing, debts and any other social inclusion issue that may prevent a safe discharge from inpatient services.</li>
<li>To conduct carry out home environment assessments as directed by the occupational therapy team and wider MDT.</li>
<li>To contribute to the delivery of the Therapeutic Activity Programme within a balanced framework promoting meaningful occupation and social inclusion. <li>With guidance from an occupational therapist utilise specific technical skills and knowledge within the framework of recovery based interventions.</li>
<li>To contribute to occupational therapy assessments, under the guidance of an occupational therapist.</li>

  <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join our specialist team within the Bristol Complex Psychological Interventions Service (CPI). The role is based in the South Bristol Assessment and Recovery Team at Petherton Resource Centre--a vibrant, multidisciplinary team where developing and evaluating 1:1 and group interventions for a wide range of secondary mental health presentations is central.</p> <p>CPI, part of Bristol Mental Health, comprises of multidisciplinary professions and offers a range of activities to support psychologically informed care within the secondary mental health service.
