  <p><strong>Do you have skills in motivating people, building people's independence and supporting people to achieve their Recovery goals!? </strong></p> <p>The Community Therapy Service in Great Yarmouth is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join their friendly team for 12 months or until April '27, whichever is shortest, to cover maternity leave.</p> <p>The post-holder will receive regular clinical and management supervision, and professional guidance from our knowledgeable, experienced and supportive team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Community Therapy Service is a team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Peer Support Workers and an Art Psychotherapist working with service users under the umbrella of the Community Mental Health Team. This team provides specialist therapeutic interventions to support people on their recovery journey in the community. working alongside Service Users who have a mental health diagnosis. Your role would be to instil hope, inspire confidence, and work collaboratively with individuals to meet their goals and build on life skills. This would include facilitating 1:1 and group sessions at the Resource Centre at Northgate Hospital, in the community and in people's homes.</p>

  <p>A rare and exciting vacancy has arisen for a passionate and highly motivated band 7/8a Practitioner Psychologist to join our Secure CAMHS team.</p> <p>The Secure CAMHS (SCAMHS) service sits within the Ardenleigh site and offers treatment for up to 11 young people, across two wards. It has received accreditations from QNIC and the National Autistic Society and a quality review in June 2024 highlighted strengths in a positive team culture, great relationships between young people and staff and comprehensive therapeutic provision. </p> <p>The young people we work with have often experienced significant difficulties in their lives and presentations include trauma, mental illness, personality difficulties, neurodevelopment difficulties and harm to self and/or others. As a team psychologist, you will work alongside a range of professionals, providing safe, containing environments and interventions to help the young people understand themselves, their mental health and offending behaviour. Within the role you will have opportunities to provide individual and group interventions, supervision and management of others, and be involved in training, service development, audit and evaluation.</p>

  <p>The service has a strong multi-disciplinary team ethos, in which psychology is well established and respected. It is committed to providing the best care for young people, and as such service user involvement and co-production are central to what we do. Recently, alongside service users and family members, the team co-wrote an article looking at a group written and delivered by young people and the experiences of having a child in a secure hospital.</p> <p>As a service we are committed to supporting our staff to have a positive experience of their time at work.   <p>Candidates will have experience of working in mental health settings and will have eithera registered graduate qualification in nursing, social work or occupational therapy or evidence of using the career framework of training in mental health and experience of working in a stepped care service for anxiety and depression as a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.</p>
<p>All positions will be offered at pay band 6 on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. The post-holder will work in the service for 3 days of the week whilst attending the training programme for the other two days.</p>
<p>This is a training role within the Barnet NHS Talking Therapies service (formerly known as IAPT). The post-holder will work within the Talking Therapies service providing high intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post-holder to provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for clients with a range of complex problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post- holder will work in the service for 3 days of the week using the newly developed skills whilst attending the training programme for the other two days with Royal Holloway, University of London.</p>
<p>This post will report to and be supported by the Barnet NHS Talking Therapies Clinical Team Leads.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<li>Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service</li>
<li>Assess clients for suitability for CBT. Where the problems appear to be too complex or severe to be appropriate for a trainee therapists to refer to manager/supervisor for advice on how to manage the case.</li>
<li>Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.</li>
<li>Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients.</li>
<li>Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying CBT formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.</li>
<li>Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.</li>
<li>Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post.</li>
<li>Apply learning form the training programme in practice</li>
<li>Receive supervision from educational providers in relation to course work to meet the required standards.</li>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Psychologist, to lead the Long-Term Conditions part of Paediatric Psychological Support Service based at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital.</p> <p>The post-holder will be part of a small team of psychologists working with children diagnosed with a range of long-term medical conditions (e.g. inflammatory bowel diseases, juvenile arthritis, epilepsy) living in Brighton and Hove. This role includes close collaboration with another 8a psychologist who leads on working with children with long-term conditions living outside of Brighton and Hove.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Long-Term Conditions Service offer short-term therapy, as well as consultation and training to support the needs of children diagnosed with long-term medical conditions. as a service, we draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, systemic, mindfulness, ACT and EMDR. The focus of this role would be to oversee the incoming referrals to the service and responses to these, including holding a clinical caseload and supervising the clinical work of a band 7 psychologist (and at times a trainee clinical psychologist). This role would suit a flexible and dynamic practitioner who is able to develop treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of children, young people and their families, which might include individual, parent-child, parent or group work, as well as close liaison with medical teams and other agencies. There is room for innovation within the service, with previous practitioners offering Tree of Life groups, Woodland Wellbeing days and sea swimming groups to support young people to have a different experience of themselves and build their confidence. Opportunities to develop appropriate staff training and group work is also supported where this meets a clinical need. The post-holder would be encouraged to supervise or co-supervise a trainee clinical psychologist.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Youth Worker to the Paediatric Diabetes team within The Northern Care Alliance. The postholder will work across the areas of Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Salford as part of the multi-disciplinary team using specific skills to contribute to the non-clinical aspects of care for young people with diabetes, their families and carers.</p> <p>The post holder will focus on ensuring young people will be effectively supported in the process of transition. This will involve engagement and communication with young people to support and develop positive self-care behaviours, promote engagement with the diabetes team and provide strategies to navigate health care systems for their long-term health needs.</p> <p>The Youth Worker is an integral member of the diabetes clinical team and will work very closely with the Lead Nurses. Transition is the process whereby young people prepare for the transfer to adult services. The appointed candidate will play a key role in the 3 processes of transition; beginning of transition where the concept is introduced, the middle phase where the CYP and their family get actively into transition and the final phase when the CYP are integrated into adult service. </p> <p>Communicating with young people is imperative within this role to support the young people's overall well-being, encompassing physical, mental and social health. The role will focus on empowering young people to manage their health conditions and navigate healthcare.</p>

  <p>This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week for a fixed term of 12 months based at the Stonebow Unit, Hereford. We would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a
minimum of 15 hours. The salary quoted is pro rata for part time hours.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience to support our current quality improvement programme on our older adult mental health inpatient wards. The post will be funded via the Royal College of Psychiatry`s Culture of Care Programme.</p><p>This programme aims to improve the culture of inpatient mental health, learning disability and autism for patients and staff so that they are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for, and fulfilling places to work.</p><p>Integrated Lived Experience takes the form of true co-production, the role focusses on creating a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for both staff and patients. There is an emphasis on developing change ideas in line with the programme alongside the wider MDT and core project team.</p><p>We can offer flexible working and will be supporting the successful applicant with training whilst in post.</p><p>The post is fixed term due to time

  <p><strong>Do you have prior lived experience of ill-mental health?</strong></p> <p>We are recruiting for a<strong> Senior Peer Support Worker</strong> to join Oxford Health Buckinghamshire CAMHS. This vacancy is an opportunity for people with lived experience of mental health challenges.</p> <p>As a <strong>Senior Peer Support Worker</strong> you'll use your own lived experience of mental health challenges, using empathy to support service users/families who are accessing mental health services.</p> <p>The service you'll be working in is Buckinghamshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT). IHTT is a supports in providing families with intensive community intervention. We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience of being a care giver to a young person with significant mental health difficulties. The individual would be able involved in supporting and guiding families during a period of crisis that can present as chaotic, stressful and distressing. You will work alongside the young person, the family or carers and a CAMHS core care team, including a care coordinator, to plan a comprehensive package of care including interventions tailored to the family's needs.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will support children, young people and their families for a period of intervention that can range between the short and medium term, and alongside the team provide intensive support during a mental health crisis while offering a range of support to reduce the likelihood of admission to inpatient hospital services, and stabilise their mental health while in a community setting.</p>
<p>The support is mainly provided in their home environment and can also include support accessing school provision and community based resources. The IHTT is able to offer and engage families in a higher level and more intensive plan of support, including the ability to conduct multiple visits across a week and sometimes daily as required.</p>
<p>The role is predominantly based in Sue Nicholls Centre, Aylesbury, with additional expectation to work from Saffron House, High Wycombe.</p>
<p>The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.</p>
