  <p>We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to join our dynamic and forward thinking team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton. 
You will be expected to work full-time, working 38.5 hours a week, working days and nights on a rota basis. (shift times 7:30am to 8:00pm; 7:30pm to 8:00am).
The post offers successful candidates a unique opportunity to develop their skills across specialities, such as DBT, and knowledge from other specialist pathways all under one roof.
Hooper Ward is our 13 bed acute mental health service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
New Dawn Ward is our 18 bed specialist Tier 4 Personality Disorder service. Women can be admitted to New Dawn if they have a diagnosis of personality disorder, exhibit self-harming behaviour and are able to accept the need for help. Service users can be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act.
Upping Ward is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs. The service pathway provides a robust programme of care for women with challenging high risk behaviour who experience difficulties with engagement with therapeutic programmes. We aim to meet the needs of these women, who may have had previous inappropriate placements, in a less restrictive setting.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a is a gender specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs.
Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions and personality disorder services.
We accept emergency and planned, pre-assessed admissions. Our aim is to support individual service user recovery and integration back into the community, as quickly as possible. We have a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and offer a very broad range of therapies.</p>

  <p><strong>Clinical Psychologist - Older Adult Specialty Band 7/8a - 1.0 wte</strong></p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical psychologist with interest in working with older people to join the Salford Older Adult Community Mental Health Team. </p> <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide specialist psychological assessments, formulation and interventions to older people and their families. The successful candidate will also support team interventions for individuals living with dementia. There will be opportunities for consultation work and training, and involvement in developments and audit.</p> <p>The service has strong links with local Clinical Psychology Training Programs, the wider Trust OA psychology service and Northwest FPOP.</p> <p>The Psychology resource in the service currently consists of a Senior Clinical Psychologist and an assistant psychologist</p> <p>Applicants must be eligible for registration as Chartered Clinical Psychologists with the British Psychological Society and registration with the HCPC</p> <p>We are pleased to be able to offer this post as a preceptorship for suitably experienced candidates and would welcome applications from those who are recently qualified. We would offer the post as a band 7 preceptorship until the necessary experience and competencies are met, upon which the post would move to an 8a. </p> <p>The post involves community work and home visiting, so applicants must be able to demonstrate ability/offer a strategy to undertake visits safely and efficiently.</p>

  <p>We are currently expanding the well-established Countywide Early Intervention in Psychosis Team which provides a focussed and specific community service for the population of Bedfordshire and Luton in response to the needs of individuals and their families experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The team works across CAMH services and Adult Mental Health Services with an age range starting at 14 years. We are therefore looking for a skilled and well-motivated Mental Health Nurse to join the team.</p>
<p>The post holder will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a sound background of working in a Community Mental Health setting and Care Coordination within CPA. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to ensure delivery of full care packages. They will also provide psychosocial interventions and undertake specialist assessments which will require a good understanding of At Risk Mental States and Psychosis. The team therefore strongly supports ongoing professional development and structured Behavioural Family Therapy, CAARMs assessment tool and Psychosocial Intervention training opportunities are available locally and as part of our regional Early Intervention network.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will join a creative and motivated team who continue to make positive differences to families and individuals across the county. We believe that psychosis is treatable and recovery is expected.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner holding a caseload as a Care Coordinator within a developing, integrated Early Intervention in Psychosis Team; to work within the principles of the agreed model of care for the service as laid down in the operational policy; to address the needs of individuals and their carers in early stages of psychosis within a recovery based approach. This will involve the assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of the care provided in line with currently identified best practice.</p>
