  <p>It is an exciting time to join the Talking Therapies team as we expand to deliver a high-quality psychological therapy service which is forward thinking and innovative.</p> <p>We are recruiting Counsellors/Psychological Therapists with skills in the practical application of NICE recommended modalities - Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD/CfD), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) or Couples Counselling for Depression, Interpersonal Psychotherapy. The post holder will work offering one of these NICE recommended modalities as part of a team of Counsellors/Psychological Therapists in the Talking Therapies service.</p> <p>Training in a NICE recommended counselling modality is essential if the candidate does not already have the required training. Training (if required) will be arranged by the Talking Therapies service, run alongside the post through the learning provider, require course attendance and clinical supervision, submission of competence based video recordings.</p> <p>Candidates are required to hold, at a minimum, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling that has included a placement of 80 hours plus, to ensure that they are equipped to undergo the specific modality training and work independently in the team. The post holder must be Accredited or working towards accreditation with BACP or UKCP.</p> <p><strong>Please note that this is a West Cornwall based role and there is an expectation for the successful candidate to work in-person within West Cornwall.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be expected to assess, formulate and implement NICE-recommended modalities of counselling.</p> <p>As a Counselling/Psychological Therapist you will be working with individuals experiencing low mood/depression.</p> <p>All Talking Therapies counsellors/psychological therapists, are required to deliver high quality services through the use of routine outcome measures, evidence-based treatment, electronic record and data management systems.</p> <p>Participation in clinical and management supervision. The post holder will be responsible for providing time-limited counselling to those service users who meet the service referral criteria. The duration of counselling interventions will be in accordance with the Talking Therapies national guidelines and service expectations</p>

  <p>We are inviting applications from psychological therapists from a core professional background (e.g. CAP's, Psychiatric nurses, Social workers, OT's) to join our Personality Disorder Pathway in the North of Hertfordshire. The post holder will be based in Stevenage and Hitchin.</p>
<p>Working closely with the local DBT leads, this post offers an exciting opportunity to join an established group of therapists who provide a local DBT service, as well as joining the wider network of therapists, locally and across the trust.</p>
<p>The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with a diagnosis of personality disorder within the service and provide specialist support, guidance and consultation to colleagues, carers and other agencies regarding the psychological care of clients.</p>

  <p>We are seeking to recruit a Registered and/or Accredited Band 5, 6 or 7 Counsellor to join the West Dorset Team .</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to join a highly motivated, professional and committed team. All successful candidates will be expected to train or be qualified in one of the following NICE Approved Counselling modalities; Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) or Couples Therapy for Depression (CTfD).</p> <p>The requirements for a Band 5 position will be a minimum of a recognised Diploma in Counselling, be Registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and be working towards Accreditation. Band 6 positions include Accreditation status with an appropriate Professional governing Body e.g BACP/BPC/UKCP and in training in a NICE approved modality. Band 7 positions include Accreditation status and qualification and current practice in one of the NICE approved modalities; Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) or Couples Therapy for Depression (CTfD).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be expected to provide Counselling via Face to Face appointments digital and telephone platforms including on occasion home visits and working with interpreters. We provide short term time limited treatment. You may be required to facilitate groups online or in person and have excellent administration, IT and communication skills. To also work closely with and provide advice and guidance to colleagues within the housing options team to integrate substance use intervention into care plans, increasing engagement and ongoing support, where appropriate.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Focus as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, working in our NHS Hull Talking Therapies Service.</p><p>This is a full-time training contract comprising of four days per week in service and one day per week of training at the University of Sheffield. Successful completion of the course will lead to a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions and a permanent contract with Focus as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.</p><p>The training year will quip you with the essential skills needed to deliver assessments and NICE recommended, evidence-based treatments. Once qualified as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will gain access to further career development and progression opportunities throughout your career with Focus.</p><p>The starting salary is equivalent to NHS Band 4 whilst training, rising on successful completion of the qualification.</p><p>Recruitment includes a two-stage interview process. If successful at first interview with Focus, you will be invited to a second interview with the University of Sheffield. The second interview will include a role-play.</p><p>First interviews will be held on Monday 24th November 2025 online. A Welcome &amp; Information session for all shortlisted candidates will also be held on Wednesday 19th November 2025 10.00am-11.00am in-person, at our centre in Hull.</p><p>Start date in service is Monday 2nd March 2026 and at the University of Sheffield the following Tuesday 10th March 2026.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As part of our Low Intensity CBT Team, you will provide a range of evidence-based low intensity interventions to patients presenting with mild to moderate common mental health problems. Interventions will be provided one-to-one, either in-person, by telephone or online.</p><p>Alongside delivering interventions, you will attend regular case management supervision, clinical skills and line management supervision.</p><p>Our NHS Hull Talking Therapies service works with adults aged 18+ who are registered with a GP in Hull. As per the national NHS Talking Therapies framework, interventions will be delivered in line with the stepped-care approach, with patients being stepped-up to Step 3 high intensity interventions if required.</p><p>To be eligible to apply, you must provide evidence of previous study at degree level, have the ability to study at post-graduate level and have prior experience of working in a mental health or equivalent setting, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.</p>
