  <p><strong>This is an exciting role working in our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team, where you will have the opportunity to use and develop your specialist skills.</strong></p> <p>You'll be working as part of a team that has recently won the Oxford Health staff 2024 Flexible team award. We pride ourselves in investing in staff with training and development opportunities available to all. Training, supervision and special interests groups are available to enhance your competencies in delivering specific therapeutic interventions including FT-AN, CBT (including CBT-E), NET etc.</p> <p>As a more senior member of the team supervision, consultation and leadership are key and training and development opportunities related to this are multiple.</p> <p>You'll be spending your time in our Specialist Eating Disorders Team. The CAMHS teams are multidisciplinary and you will be part of a psychological therapies workforce that includes a Consultant Psychologist, band 7 Psychologist, clinical associate Psychologists, Trainee Psychologists, CBT Trainees / Therapists and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, which consists of Psychologists, Family therapists, Psychotherapists, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, and in a team where a number of specialist clinics are offered eg LD, NDC, FT, ED, you will find plenty of opportunities to learn from colleagues and share expertise.</p> <p>On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service ensuring the systemic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to clients with eating disorders and complex mental health problems including severe, enduring and multiple disorders. You undertaking mental health assessments, formulating, risk assessing and devising evidence-based care plans for children and young people (CYP). Collaborative working is key and we are proud of the relationships the team has with partner agencies including Salisbury District Hospital.</p> <p>We have a strong psychology network and professional leadership across the 5 CAMHS teams in BSW (Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) and strong links with the Doctoral Training course at Bath University. </p>

  <p>This team provides the opportunity to further develop work within the field of young people's mental health and wellbeing with a focus on development of whole school approaches to mental health and wellbeing and the development of the think family approaches within the schools environment.</p> <p>The mental health support teams provide CBT, guided self-help, parenting and whole school approaches but also offers support to young people through partnership working with external agencies.</p>

  <p>The post holder will be knowledgeable and experienced in staff related matters such as sickness management, supervision, performance related issues and staff wellbeing as well as having a good understanding of mental health problems in children and young people as carrying out mental health assessments including risk assessments where required would also form part of the role. The postholder will also need to be the link worker between the team and the CAMHS services to ensure that children and young people receive the most appropriate care and interventions as well as being experienced in multi-agency working. Support, advice and consultation to families/carers and other professionals involved in the life of the child/young person will also need to be provided.</p> <p>The post holder will work in partnership with the Locality Clinical Leads and will further develop the partnership working that is currently taking place between Education, Local Authority, CCG and the Child &amp; Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and therefore excellent communication skills are essential.</p>

  <p>Due to newly acquired funding, we are looking to expand our provision of enhanced support for children and young people with autism and / or learning disabilities who are at risk of psychiatric admission.</p> <p>The DICE team provides intensive support for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism during times of crisis and recovery when discharged back to the care of community services.</p> <p>Our aim is to prevent avoidable hospital admissions, stabilise crises, and support recovery in the community.</p> <p>The team provides short term intensive intervention, working collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, and local services, to stabilise and enable people to live safely and meaningfully in the community.</p> <p>Peer Support Workers bring a unique and invaluable perspective, using their own lived experience of learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, to offer guidance, connection, and practical support</p> <p>We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Peer Support Worker to join our team. This role is designed for people with lived experience of learning disabilities, autism, or mental health, who want to use their experience to support others in crisis or recovery in the community.</p>

  <ul>  <li>Provide peer-based emotional and practical support.</li>  <li>Use your lived experience to support individuals, their families and carers during periods of stress or crisis</li>  <li>Work as part of the MDT, ensuring the voice of the individual shapes care planning and service delivery.</li>  <li>Support engagement, recovery, and resilience during crisis periods through goal setting with individuals, accessing appropriate resources, and working collaboratively within and across care teams to ensure a collaborative approach.</li> </ul>

  <p>A rare opportunity for a motivated individual who has lived experience of the Criminal Justice System or custody in prison.</p> <p>Do you want to become involved in working with psychologists and other practitioners, to support the recovery journey of people who struggle with their mental health?</p> <p>Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) is seeking to recruit people with lived experiences to join our Primary Care Mental Health Treatment Requirements teams in Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire. This application is for Guildford area.</p> <p>This post would be ideal for someone who wishes to use their own experiences of Prison and/or the Criminal Justice Service to help others who are accessing support for the Primary Care Mental Health Treatment Requirement.</p> <p>Experience of peer support work is desirable, but not required, as the role depends more upon your ability to use your personal experience to support others and your aspiration to do so whilst being part of a NHS team that is supportive, approachable and dedicated to the role. Training will be provided.</p> <p>The ability to commute independently across the Guilford area is essential.</p> <p>The foundation of peer support is based on the recognition that there is no better person to support the path towards recovery than someone who has walked the same path as that individual.
