<p>The post holder will provide individual and group assessment and intervention to service users with a range of mental health needs, providing an essential part of the therapy offer.</p>

  <p>NELFT is the largest providers of Mental Health Support Teams (MHST's) in England.</p> <p>The MHST's deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 5 to 18 years old. The service comprises several borough based multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, FCPNS, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Family Therapists, Social Workers, Life Skills Recovery Workers and Peer Support and Care Peer Support Workers. The service model places a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary work and service user involvement, and co-production. The model stresses the importance of working across the care pathway from inpatient to community, and there is an emphasis on building relationships and signposting with community services (including community arts projects and arts in health providers) to work collaboratively to address the needs of the diverse population</p>

  <p>This is a Band 8b to Band 8c developmental post.</p>  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist to join our Older Adult Inpatient Psychology team in North Cumbria, working within a multi-disciplinary team including Approved clinician, and an Assistant Psychologist.The post will work into our two older adult wards.Ruskin is our ward for people with organic problems including dementia providing assessment and treatment by a multi-disciplinary health and social care team. The ward supports service users and their families with a range of different treatments and therapies. Oakwood is our ward for older people with mental health problems arising from functional disorders such as depression, anxiety or psychosis.   <p>You will be responsible for professional leadership and governance of the older adult inpatient psychology team. Clinically you will work on both Ruskin and Oakwood wards and be part of the ward leadership team. You will also provide high quality evidence based psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions to service users. You will also be responsible for providing advice, consultation, and training to colleagues on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care, and treatment.</p>  <p>You will undertake the UNN Approved Clinician training and be given support to access appropriate cases and supervision.</p>  <p>On completion of the Approved clinician training, you will have an agreed job plan which combines the Consultant Clinical Psychologist post with Approved clinician responsibilities in an agreed job plan.</p>  <p>You will also be part of the wider Older People's Psychological Service in North Cumbria which consists of Clinical Psychologists, a CBT Therapist and Assistant Psychologists.   <p>We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Associate in Psychology to join our team. This post would be suitable for someone wishing to develop their skills in working with people with eating disorders and we welcome applications from those who trained in an Adult Mental Health setting. This post will be located at April House in Southampton and will also involve some remote working.</p><p>We are a supportive multi-disciplinary team that includes psychologists, nurses, psychiatrists, dietitians, psychological therapists, clinical associate in psychology, occupational therapists and support workers. We are committed to delivering high quality recovery focused care and offer a range of evidence-based interventions, including CBT-ED, DBT-BED, SSCM, MANTRA and psychodynamic psychotherapy. We are part of the FREED early intervention network and also work closely with families and carers.</p><p>This role offers exciting opportunities for direct clinical work, service development and multi-disciplinary team working. You will provide evidence-based psychological therapies to people experiencing a range of eating disorders, many of whom present with comorbid mental health difficulties. The role will involve delivering individual and group interventions, as well as some joint work with our day service staff.</p>

  <p>We will provide you with the necessary training and supervision to deliver some of the core evidence-based interventions for eating disorders, including CBT-ED, group DBT for Binge Eating Disorder (DBT-BED) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). Clinical Psychologist - Rehabilitation Pathway

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting position has arisen within our Lichfield Mental Health Support Team. We are looking for an experienced &amp; enthusiastic Education Mental Health Practitioner/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.</p> <p>Youwill continue to build on the fantastic work carried out within your allocated schools. The role is varied &amp; no two days are the same, you may be setting up and delivering group work &amp; assemblies one day to delivering assessment &amp; interventions the next, as well assupportingschools to develop their whole school approaches to mental health &amp; wellbeing.</p> <p>You will be skilled &amp; experienced in conducting mental health assessments of children and young people (CYP) presenting with common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and low mood. You will conduct risk assessments &amp; identify the right level of support for CYP you come into contact with.</p> <p>Alongside the clinical aspect of your role, you will play an integral part in supporting schools with their whole school approaches. There is scope for creativity and opportunities to work alongside CYP &amp; parents/carers to drive the whole school approach agenda.</p> <p>This is an opportunity to be involved in an established team within the wider CAMHS structure, as a joint initiative between health &amp; education. You will work across the Staffordshire locality as well as supporting other MHSTs across South Staffordshire. You will work deliver parent, staff well-being, 1:1 &amp; group work sessions. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>Assess and deliver outcome focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, working at all times in collaboration with and giving respect to the education function of the setting in which the post-holder is deployed.</li>  <li>Work in effective, evidence-based partnership with children, young people, their families and their educators in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes.</li>  <li>Support and empower children, young people, their parents/carers and families and their educators to make informed choices about the interventions being offered.</li>  <li>Operate at all times from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity</li>  <li>Accept referrals within educational settings according to agreed local and national and local protocols</li>  <li>Undertake and record accurate assessments of risk and operate clear risk management processes in line with locally agreed procedures including the safeguarding protocols of the educational setting and Local Safeguarding Board guidance</li>  <li>Adhere to all regulations, processes and procedures within the educational service to which the post holder is attached within the educational setting where the post-holder working including (but not limited to) HR policies, training requirements, referral protocols, and emergency procedures. Signpost referrals of children with more complex needs to a locally identified appropriate service</li> </ul>
