  <p>We are proud to be developing new roles for Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners to join our experienced workforce in Hertfordshire.</p>
<p>The post holder will have a desire to develop their skills in working with adults with severe and enduring mental illness, some of whom will have not had previous access to psychologically informed interventions.</p>
<p>The post-holder will work collaboratively with service users, their families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment.</p>
<p>The post holder will support the delivery of a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems under the supervision of a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist, where this is identified in personalised care planning and support.</p>

<p>Wolverhampton Talking Therapies Service within the Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression services to the local population of Wolverhampton.</p>

  <p><strong>Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist in Pain Management</strong>   This is an exciting opportunity to join the Enfield Pain Service (EPS) which serves patients who have a long-term pain condition e.g. chronic lower back pain, chronic widespread pain, fibromyalgia. The EPS is staffed by a supportive team of medical, physiotherapy and psychology professionals as we acknowledge that pain impacts a person's life in lots of different ways.   You'll be working under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to deliver psychological assessment and intervention (1:1 and group pain management programmes based on CBT/ACT/CFT) for this cohort of patients. You'll also be supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and liaising with relevant external community services e.g. Talking Therapies, MSK services, community mental health teams. As one of the senior clinicians in the service, you'll be managing and supervising other members of the EPS, leading on aspects of service delivery, evaluation and innovation, and taking on managerial duties to ensure the effective running of the service. Previous experience of working in Pain and/or Long-term Health Conditions is essential. Having additional training and experience in EMDR and PTSD would be advantageous.  Working in pain services can be incredibly rewarding, where psychology is highly valued, and you will develop your skills and experiences of working as a senior clinician and manager in a supportive team.</p>

  <p>We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Perinatal Loss Service based in Suffolk, on a 12 month fixed term contract.   This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a specialist service that offers specialist assessment and psychological interventions to women and birthing people who are experiencing mental health difficulties following perinatal loss.   </p><p>You will have theopportunity to gain experience working in perinatal mental health and also to continue to support the development of a relatively new service.</p> <p>We are a small, dedicated team comprising of a Clinical Psychologist, a Peer Support Worker and two specialist Maternity Bereavement Support Workers. As a team we offer specialist assessment and psychological interventions to women and birthing people who are experiencing mental health difficulties following perinatal loss. The team offers support across the county with bases in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds and works closely with the Suffolk Community Perinatal Team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will involve the successful candidate working with their team to deliver psychologically informed assessments and interventions, with a focus on short term individual work. The service draws on a range of psychological models including CBT, EMDR, CFT and also offers some Couples therapy. There may be some opportunity for group work as the service continues to develop. The post holder would also be responsible for supporting the team to complete routine outcome measures, updating databases and be involved in auditing psychological therapies within the service. There would be opportunities for service-related research and audit.</p> <p>You will receive weekly supervision from a qualified psychologist.</p> <p>As a service we have close links to the clinical psychology doctoral training programme at the UEA and have supported previous assistant psychologists onto clinical training. Our Southend, Essex and Thurrock services cover 144 schools currently. We currently cover 48% of secondary and primary school within those areas.</p> <p>The MHST deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties aged 4 to 18 years old. The teams also have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.</p> <p>The MHSTs build on the support already in place from school counsellors, nurses, educational psychologists and the voluntary sector to support those with mild to moderate mental health issues in school and will help children and young people with more severe needs to access the right support and provide a link to the CAMHS services.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be responsible for delivering interventions within MHSTs in and round schools and colleges whilst receiving clinical supervision.</p> <p>Act as an autonomous, registered (where appropriate) practitioner who is legally and professionally accountable for own unsupervised actions guided by the professional code of conduct and Trust guidelines and protocols.</p> <p>Initiate referrals to other health professional specialist services and agencies.</p> <p>To provide expert emotional wellbeing and mental health support as part of plans to transform CYPs mental health through the NHS Long- Term Plan.</p> <p>To undertake school based and community-based assessments, risk assessments, care plans and to deliver a range of early interventions to CYP with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.</p> <p>Responsible, and accountable, for service delivery to clients/patients, via NICE compliant pathways and in accordance with the crisis care concordat.</p> <p>Provide leadership and to promote initiative, creativity and motivation in the MHSTs.</p> <p>To routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based interventions.</p> <p>To communicate complex patient related information facilitating positive outcomes and ensuring collaborative working.</p> <p>To support peers and team leader and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative.
