  <p><strong>Senior Creative Arts Therapist - 22.5 hours per week - Permanent</strong></p> <p>Do you understand the clinical needs of young people with mental health problems?</p> <p>Do you bring passion and commitment to delivering high quality care?</p> <p>We are looking for an Senior Creative Arts Therapist to join our Tier 4 GAU unit in Stoke on Trent.</p> <p>This role will provide an exciting career opportunity supporting the assessment and recovery of young people within a highly specialist inpatient CAMHS setting. You will be expected to have excellent team working and groupwork skills, and an ability to deliver individual and group interventions within an inpatient environment.</p> <p>You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment, formulation and intervention within the inpatient service. This will include the delivery of specialist individual, group and systemic intervention, as well as providing consultation, interventions and training for carers and staff.</p> <p>In addition to shaping and delivering direct assessment, formulation and intervention, you will contribute to wider service development and pathways, including training, consultation, reflective practice and staff wellbeing.</p> <p>We welcome applicants from all modalities of creative arts therapies, including art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, and related disciplines.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a senior member of the MDT, the post holder will play a key role in delivering psychotherapeutic interventions that support the psychosocial assessment, wellbeing and recovery of young people admitted to the Darwin Centre.</p> <p>The Darwin Centres is a 14 bedded tier 4 General Adolescent Unit (GAU) service based in Stoke on Trent. The service provided inpatient assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing acute distress or risk associated with a confirmed or suspected mental health disorder, eating disorder or disordered eating. The service also supports young people who have neurodiverse needs and mild learning disabilities.</p> <p>Post holder will be responsible for providing a Creative Arts Therapy service, structured in terms of referral, assessment, formulation of a psychotherapy intervention, treatment, review and discharge. (This may be art therapy, music therapy or other modality).</p> <p>Deliver Creative Arts Therapy in a dynamic manner, being flexible dependent on the needs of services users, on both a one to one and group basis. There is also the potential to work with carers &amp; families.</p> <p>Within the accountability above, the postholder is responsible for supporting and driving any Creative Art Therapy service developments and policies.</p> <p>Within the accountability above, the postholder may be given the responsibility for the clinical supervision of trainee creative psychotherapists or other junior members of the MDT.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in Acute Mental Health.   <p>As a PWP you play an integral part in the everyday workings of the service, from promotional work to assessing patients to providing clinical evidence-based interventions to help service users make lasting changes in managing their mental health.</p>
<p>Post holders will be completing clinical contacts 1:1 face to face, over the telephone, video consultation, group courses (remotely and in person) and CBT. Where needed, holding discussions with step 3 and/or step 4 clinicians to ensure step ups and safe onward referrals are completed and that patient dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times. There will also be opportunities for community outreach work to promote the work we do to other services, educational settings and careers events.</p>
<p>The post-holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.</p>
<p>The post-holder will be required to work at any times between 8am and 8pm on weekdays as required by the service. The post-holder will also be required to participate in evening clinics offered by the service between 5pm and 8pm.</p>
<p>Alongside LI and HI CBT, the service offers Counselling for Depression, Couples Therapy for Depression, Mindfulness based CBT, IPT and EMDR. We are currently establishing good links with our Primary Care Networks and Secondary Care Mental Health Teams.</p>

  <p>We are seeking an experienced and compassionate counsellor to join our team and help lead the delivery of a responsive and person-centred bereavement service.</p>
<p>The post holder will provide high-quality pre- and post-bereavement counselling to individuals and families, based on evidence-based practice and in line with statutory requirements and NHS policies.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to take the role of Lead Occupational Therapist, Band 6 with the Brighton &amp; Hove Group Treatment Service (GTS).</p> <p>We are looking to recruit into a part-time position working four days a week.</p> <p>The OT specific responsibilities of this post are to lead the development of occupational therapy practice across the GTS, introducing and developing clinical initiatives and offer professional support and development to junior OT staff within the GTS.</p> <p>The Brighton and Hove Group Treatment Service delivers groups alongside 1:1 sessions for clients in secondary care. The service provides a psychoeducational group program using the Recovery model developed within a CBT approach, drawing on mindfulness, self- compassion and acceptance and commitment therapy. The psychoeducation component aims to support people in developing an understanding of their difficulties and the development of new life skills. </p> <p>This role includes facilitation of psychoeducational and creative groups. </p> <p>The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing referrals to the GTS and manage the daily running of the service at this site.</p> <p>You will also hold a caseload of service users with complex needs and will be expected to use evidence based / client centered principles to assess, plan and evaluate interventions.</p>

  <p>The post holder will be responsible for assessing patients (which includes assessment for suitability for the group treatment programme), and providing individual therapeutic interventions to support the group work.</p> <p>To lead the OT specific practice within GTS, offering professional supervision and preceptorship.</p> <p>You will be in charge of facilitating groups and managing your own clinical case load, you will also have Lead Practitioner responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in working within a psychological framework, and facilitating and developing groups. The GTS provides an excellent supervision package to facilitate this learning. </p> <p>This role will require you to process referrals and manage the team on a day to day basis.   <p><strong>8a Family Therapist - Children and Young Peoples Eating Disorders Service</strong></p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established &amp; highly experienced specialist service. An enthusiastic Family and Systemic Psychotherapist is being advertised to join our Children, Families and Young People (CFYP) Eating Disorders Service.</p> <p>As a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist within the service, you would provide clinical input across Suffolk, however we are also be open to a discussion regarding locality preferences if this fits with the service needs. The team operate core hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with a base both in Ipswich and Bury st Edmunds/Newmarket.</p> <p>The applicant, if successful, will be providing highly specialist multidisciplinary assessment &amp; treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders. You will provide expert clinical interventions to families and individuals, as well as joining and supporting more junior but experienced colleagues with cases.</p>

  <p>You will be providing highly specialist assessment and treatment to families and young people within a systemic framework that utilises family therapy models and interventions.</p> <p>The role includes offering monthly group and individual supervision to the wider practitioners within the team, sharing of systemic thinking within this group supervision and in clinical team case discussions. This is also widened onto systemic consultations and supporting MDT members in formulation, case reviews &amp; discussions and therapeutic skills.</p> <p>The service has a systemic underpinning with Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa / Bulimia Nervosa (FT-AN/BN) Treatment Model (Family Based Treatment/Maudsley Model) for eating disorders as its core intervention and training will be accessible.</p> <p>The service takes a holistic whole family approach to assessment and intervention and the MDT consists of clinical team leaders, nurses, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians, assistant mental health practitioners, assistant psychologists, support workers and peer support worker.</p> <p>The team hold team working and a shared culture and ethos at their core and the team strives to conduct the more complex cases in therapeutic pairs where possible.</p> <p>The service also operates an Intensive Support Pathway embedded in the team and this can include family therapy sessions during this intense treatment period alongside the Multidisciplinary Team.</p>

  <p>Psychologists are integral and valued key members of the Mental Health Care of Older People's multidisciplinary teams (MHCOP) in each borough across East London. Within and across the service, in line with National Guidance, the post holder will be responsible and accountable for the provision of high quality, person-centred and culturally sensitive psychological services to older adults presenting to the service, their families and carers. Our goal is to alleviate psychological distress and promote psychological well-being, working alongside our multi-disciplinary team colleagues in the community and liaison into the centralised wards, where required through consultation, teaching and training.</p>

  <p>The post holder will be an active member of City and Hackney's Mental Health Care of Older Adult's service including the centralised MHCOP inpatient wards and wider East London MHCOP Psychology and Arts therapies professional group.</p> <p>They will work closely with psychologists and other professionals in the team maintaining a standardised approach to the assessment and care of Service Users with complex needs across community and inpatient settings. As part of this, they will contribute to the provision of a specialist psychological perspective for the work of the team, providing highly specialist psychological advice and consultation to other members of the team as well as consultation into the borough's residential and nursing homes.</p> <p>They will be responsible and accountable for the systematic provision of a highly specialist psychology service for people with severe, complex and enduring mental health and dementia related difficulties and their families, presenting to the service and across community and, where appropriate, acute physical health and psychiatric settings.</p> <p>They will develop working partnerships with other members of psychology services locally and across East London boroughs, relevant statutory and voluntary agencies, locality services and providers/commissioners as appropriate</p>   <h3>About us</h3>
