  <p>The SPA promotes dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to crisis referrals. The role encompasses the NHS principle; right care, right time and right place. The SPA triages mental health crisis calls and referrals, providing tele-coaching psychologically informed interventions, support, guidance and signposting.</p> <p>Working via telephone within the SPA, Telecoaches are experts in validating, de-escalating crisis, formulating plans and coaching people in distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies. Using a range of brief psychological interventions, Telecoaches empower patients, carers and families to manage distress and crisis effectively. </p>

  <p>Our CAMHS Eating Disorder Service has a exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train (RTT) Trainee / Trainee Systemic Family Practice (SFP) Practitioner, as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).</p> <p>Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are recruiting a SFP Practitioner to work within our West London CAMHS Eating Disorder Team. This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP-IAPT) Programme. We offer high quality supervision, with excellent CPD and career development opportunities.</p>
<p>This is a one-year fixed-term post (1.0 WTE), with this training year funded by NHSE. After successful completion of the course the fixed term training contract will end however applicants would be encouraged to apply for any vacant posts within the service and will be provided support and advice in job applications.</p>
<p>This role will be best suited for applicants that are able to balance a very busy work and study schedule. You will be an employee at the service but also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. Applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work). Protected study time or teaching days are typically two days a week during term (with possibility of extra university days near start) and will be a mixture of in person and online sessions. Applicants must be willing to travel into London to attend their lectures.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Focus as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, working in our NHS Hull Talking Therapies Service.</p><p>This is a full-time training contract comprising of four days per week in service and one day per week of training at the University of Sheffield. Successful completion of the course will lead to a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions and a permanent contract with Focus as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.</p><p>The training year will quip you with the essential skills needed to deliver assessments and NICE recommended, evidence-based treatments. Once qualified as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will gain access to further career development and progression opportunities throughout your career with Focus.</p><p>The starting salary is equivalent to NHS Band 4 whilst training, rising on successful completion of the qualification.</p><p>Recruitment includes a two-stage interview process. If successful at first interview with Focus, you will be invited to a second interview with the University of Sheffield.   <p>As part of our Low Intensity CBT Team, you will provide a range of evidence-based low intensity interventions to patients presenting with mild to moderate common mental health problems. Interventions will be provided one-to-one, either in-person, by telephone or online.</p><p>Alongside delivering interventions, you will attend regular case management supervision, clinical skills and line management supervision.</p><p>Our NHS Hull Talking Therapies service works with adults aged 18+ who are registered with a GP in Hull. As per the national NHS Talking Therapies framework, interventions will be delivered in line with the stepped-care approach, with patients being stepped-up to Step 3 high intensity interventions if required.</p><p>To be eligible to apply, you must provide evidence of previous study at degree level, have the ability to study at post-graduate level and have prior experience of working in a mental health or equivalent setting, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.</p>
