Living Well Peer Support Worker

<p><strong>We are currently hiring a Stepdown Recovery Officer&nbsp;to join our inspiring and friendly Brent Stepdown Service.</strong></p><p><strong>This is a Fixed Term Contract Role ending 30th September 2025, working 35 hours per week.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Stepdown recovery officer will identify early identification of factors that would potentially delay timely discharge and impact on provision of appropriate aftercare. They will liaise with housing and local authorities around discharge and facilitation of housing assessments. Strategic Communications Manager

<p>We are looking for an experienced and passionate Suicide Bereavement Worker to work at our Surrey Support after Suicide Service.</p><p><strong>This is a Part time Role working 21 hours a week.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. The service is a peer led service with staff and volunteers having some form of personal experience of bereavement by suicide. For those with close personal experience, at least three years must have elapsed since the bereavement. The service aims to support those immediately affected by suicide e.g. close family members including the spouse or partner but also to those who have been exposed to suicide e.g. friends, neighbours, colleagues, witnesses, first responders, neighbours, colleges and health and social care professionals.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a relatively new team on a fixed term basis. The Therapeutic Interventions for Distressing unusual Experiences Service (TIDES) is a team working therapeutically with young people across Norfolk &amp; Waveney which aims to help young people at risk of developing psychosis who are experiencing an at-risk mental state.</p> <p>Your choice of base could be Norwich, Great Yarmouth, or King's Lynn. However you would be expected to work flexibly between bases in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn, and home.</p> <p>We are accepting those with core professions from: mental health nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers. (You will require an up-to date registration).</p> <p>We are a supported team currently made up of clinical psychology, systemic family therapy, cognitive behavioural therapists, mental health practitioners, support workers and a vocational worker, all of whom are from a variety of professional backgrounds. Our team will be offering young people evidence-based interventions such as psychoeducational work, individual CBT and family therapeutic work aimed at helping our young people and their families to manage their unusual experiences. TIDES practitioners work with small manageable caseloads and hold an integrated approach to the care we provide.</p> <p>Phone calls, teams calls or visits to meet the team and manager are welcomed and encouraged. </p>
