<h2>Job summary</h2>
   <p>The post-holder will be a qualified fully registered HCPC Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a passion for working in this area. As part of the QNIC recommended structure for inpatient CYP units, we are recruiting for these psychology posts into our Kent &amp; Medway Adolescent Hospital MDT. The post holder will work very closely with Children and Young People's Mental Health Services across inpatient and community in Kent NELFT, the Kent and Sussex provider collaborative and other stakeholders. The post holder will work very closely with the Kent NELFT Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Service who offer specialist DBT assessments and interventions to YP and their families who are referred.</p>  <p>The post holder will be part of the ward MDT as well as linking with the Intensive Home Treatment team to ensure a smooth pathway for CYP between inpatient and community flow. The post holder will facilitate the therapeutic component of the ward programme with the MDT to ensure the clinical model is delivered with senior members of the Psychological Professions team.</p>  <p>The postholder will join a thriving psychological professions team across comprehensive CAMHS (inpatient and community). We have strong links with our local psychology training institute and on-going NHSE training for workforce expansion and upskilling. </p>

  <p>We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Associate in Psychology to join our team. This post would be suitable for someone wishing to develop their skills in working with people with eating disorders and we welcome applications from those who trained in an Adult Mental Health setting. This post will be located at April House in Southampton and will also involve some remote working.</p><p>We are a supportive multi-disciplinary team that includes psychologists, nurses, psychiatrists, dietitians, psychological therapists, clinical associate in psychology, occupational therapists and support workers. We are committed to delivering high quality recovery focused care and offer a range of evidence-based interventions, including CBT-ED, DBT-BED, SSCM, MANTRA and psychodynamic psychotherapy. We are part of the FREED early intervention network and also work closely with families and carers.</p><p>This role offers exciting opportunities for direct clinical work, service development and multi-disciplinary team working. You will provide evidence-based psychological therapies to people experiencing a range of eating disorders, many of whom present with comorbid mental health difficulties. The role will involve delivering individual and group interventions, as well as some joint work with our day service staff.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We will provide you with the necessary training and supervision to deliver some of the core evidence-based interventions for eating disorders, including CBT-ED, group DBT for Binge Eating Disorder (DBT-BED) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). Our challenge is not just to meet this demand, but to build a model of care that works in partnership with service users, families, and the wider community.</p> <p>The Newham Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIS) team plays a key role in delivering the NHS Long Term Plan, particularly its focus on prevention through early detection and intervention. We are looking for psychologists who can bring both strong therapeutic skills and the ability to collaborate across services. Alongside delivering NICE recommended therapies such as CBT for psychosis and family interventions, you will work as part of a committed multidisciplinary team, ensuring care is joined up, formulation driven, and responsive to our community's needs.</p>

  <p>As a psychologist you will be central to the MDT, providing therapy to service users and their families, and supporting the team through reflective practice, consultation, supervision, and training.   <p>The Tamarind Centre is seeking a fixed term maternity cover for an 8B Practitioner Psychologist to join its psychology department. This is a strong developmental opportunity, ideal for an experienced 8A looking to progress or an 8B psychologist curious about moving into forensic work.</p> <p>The post sits within our personality focused recovery service, a specialist ward for men with complex histories of violence, trauma, and interpersonal conflict. We are looking for someone with experience delivering therapeutic work to individuals, groups, and across systems. While expertise in MBT, DBT, or forensic psychodynamic psychotherapy is welcomed, it is not essential. An interest in adapting therapies for men at high risk of violence is especially valued.</p> <p>Tamarind is an 89 bed medium secure unit supporting men with enduring mental health needs and histories of violence. Our psychology team values openness, authenticity, and psychological safety. We prioritise cohesion over conformity and invite you to help us grow. Our work lives in the balance between care and containment, acknowledging trauma and structural inequality while avoiding binary thinking. Evidence based practice is essential, but we aim to adapt it compassionately and meaningfully.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

Recent work includes culturally informed mental health groups, co-designed trauma training, and projects with carers to hold the service accountable.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychological Therapist or Counsellor to join NHS Somerset Talking Therapies Service for Depression and Anxiety, working within either our South Somerset Team (Yeovil/Chard) or our Taunton Team.</p><p>NHS Somerset Talking Therapies is a high-performing service with one of the best recovery rates in the country. We have excellent links with the voluntary sector and secondary care through the Open Mental Health Somerset initiative. As part of our multi-professional workforce in primary care, you will support adults experiencing depression, anxiety and long-term health conditions, offering therapy both face-to-face and via video link. Flexible working opportunities are available.</p><p>Applicants who do not yet hold a Talking Therapies-compliant qualification in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or Person Centre Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) will be considered for a Band 6 recruit-to-train position, with full training provided.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul><li><p>Provide evidence-based psychological therapy in line with NHS Talking Therapies standards, including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or Person Centre Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD)</p></li><li><p>Deliver individual and group-based interventions both in person and remotely.</p></li><li><p>Undertake triage and assessments, contributing to stepped care pathways.</p></li><li><p>Manage a caseload of up to 18 clinical contacts per week, ensuring timely treatment delivery.</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with colleagues across primary care, community mental health and voluntary sector services.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the IAPTus system.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to clinical governance, service audits, user feedback and evaluations.</p></li></ul>
