<h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). <p>If you’re looking to progress your career and be part a new and exciting partnership venture between Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and Elysium Healthcare, while making a vital contribution to the lives of young people aged 13-18 with general mental health Tier 4 presentations including disordered eating.&nbsp; </p>
<p>As a CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist employed by Elysium Healthcare but seconded to SABP through the hybrid clinical and operational model, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.&nbsp;</p>
<p>You will work alongside the talented and experienced multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each young person within a warm and nurturing environment. This will allow you to understand symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress.&nbsp;</p>

  <p>1 year fixed term contract or 1 year secondment band 8b 0.4wte Practitioner Psychologist, Psychotherapist or Psychological Therapist. This is a maternity cover post to provide clinical leadership for psychological therapies for the STEP (Southwark Team for Early Psychosis). We are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic member of staff with a strong track record of delivering psychological therapies within a stepped care model. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of early intervention for psychosis and have the required leadership qualities to ensure the provision of high quality psychological therapies.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The main duty of this post is to oversee the psychological therapy offer within the STEP team which is delivered on a stepped care basis. The role involves clinical management and supervision, direct clinical work (CBTp, EMDR and/or family interventions), consultation and service development responsibilities.
