Our Befriending Project supports people in the London boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow who are socially isolated. They may have a physical or sensory disability, or they may have mild dementia, and are sometimes housebound.On successful completion of the training, Befrienders are matched with someone who lives close to them.They make a weekly 1-2 hour visit to the client's home, where they might stay in and chat over a cup of tea or, where possible, go out for a walk together, visit a café or undertake a local activity.These visits make such a difference for the client, but volunteering with BEfriend not only enriches the lives of those who are isolated, it also offers immense personal rewards.As a Befriender, you’ll get to know inspirational people with fascinating stories, develop new skills and be part of a supportive team that values compassion and connection.

We are looking for a full time Associate Specialist doctor (non-consultant grade) to work in our Medium (MSU) and Low secure (LSU) Forensic Mental Health Services.
Farmfield Hospital is a purpose-built secure hospital which comprises of four MSU ward and two LSU wards for male service users. The hospital is centrally located with excellent transport links to London and Brighton.
Applications are invited for an experienced full-time Associate Specialist doctor to provide medical support to the consultant, and to function as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team. Secretarial support is provided.&nbsp;
The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues and other professionals. Good IT skills are essential.

As a Psychologist you will be:
<ul>
 <li>Working autonomously to provide a specialist psychology service to patients as agreed by Consultant Psychiatrist, Therapies Lead, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and in discussion with wider MDT.</li>
 <li>Undertaking specialist assessments.</li>
 <li>Providing specialist interventions according to formulations based on an appropriate conceptual framework, NICE guidelines, evidence from research, and in accordance with the wider MDT formulation and interventions.</li>
 <li>Be involved in running therapeutic groups on the ward as agreed.</li>
 <li>Continually monitor risk of all patients for whom there is direct contact, or regarding which the post holder receives relevant information, ensure acute risk is managed, liaise with MDT (and in particular responsible psychiatrist) regarding risk, and update electronic record including risk assessment as required.</li>
 <li>Ensuring that all clinical work is adequately recoded in the electronic patient record.</li>
 <li>Attending ward rounds (and other MDT meetings), case conferences, CPAs as required, and provide reports in advance for these in accordance with local procedures.</li>
 <li>Preparing clinical; reports as required, e.g. assessment reports, discharge summaries.</li>
 <li>Liaising with internal and external colleagues as required</li>
 <li>Completing all recording and reporting tasks associated with clinical work.</li>

			Join Emerald Place Clinic as a Consultant Child and Young People Psychiatrist and deliver, treat and empower young people to live a safe and independent life. 
You will join our multidisciplinary team in a 12-bed General Adolescent Inpatient Unit. The unit provides care for young people aged 13 –18 experiencing acute mental health difficulties requiring inpatient treatment. You will play a key role in clinical leadership, risk management, and therapeutic planning, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care.
As a CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the children and young people, and their families, as they progress through their care plans to understand eating behaviours and restore physical health.&nbsp;
You will work alongside the talented and experienced multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each young person within a warm and nurturing environment. This will allow you to understand symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress.&nbsp;
