  <p>The Royal Liverpool University Hospital has recently merged with Aintree University Hospital to form the exciting new Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is looking to expand its current complement of band 6 Radiographers. We are a friendly and hard-working department and are keen to recruit like-minded individuals. This is an exciting time for our department, and we believe this is a great opportunity to join our team ahead of future developments in our service</p> <p>In addition to the merger, we have recently moved into a brand-new hospital with state-of-the-art equipment.</p> <p>We are a multi-faceted department, offering a rotation through Computerised Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. We operate a CT and MRI shift pattern involving evenings, weekends and overnight CT duties, whilst maintaining the opportunity to enhance earnings through overtime.</p> <p>Our Imaging department comprises of 4 new Siemens CT scanners that perform a diverse number of examinations on a weekly basis e.g. CT guided ablations, cardiac scans and colonography examinations. Additionally, we have 2 onsite 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanners and a 3T Siemens Vida as well as the exciting opportunity for training and rotation on a state of the art 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanner located at Broadgreen hospital. The Radiology department covers a wide spectrum of imaging examinations including Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac, Pancreatic, Vascular and Renal Transplant.</p> <p>MRI experience desirable for this post.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Perform specialist clinical duties by undertaking complex specialised radiological examinations in CT and MRI and all aspects of patient care associated with this.</p>
<p>To perform imaging examinations at a consistently high technical and professional standard.</p>
<p>Support Area Leads and take responsibility for the general department in their absence.</p>
<p>Assist with &amp; support development of Band 5 Radiographers ensuring compliance with department protocols and procedures.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 8a Child &amp; Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our multi disciplinary dynamic CAMHS service. <p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p>
<p>You will work 37.5 hours a week as the Senior Psychologist for a service that offers (Neuro-Forensic Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation for adult males).</p>
<p>In collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and under the direction and supervision of the Joint Heads of Psychology, you will support the delivery of psychology services across St Mary’s Hospital. In the absence of the Joint Heads, you will act as the primary point of contact between the psychology department and the senior management team.</p>
<p>As the Senior Psychologist you will have active participation in multidisciplinary team work, ensuring that our service users are fully engaged in their care pathways. It also includes supporting clinical team efforts through both direct interventions and the facilitation of staff training programmes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new initiatives and ways of working within the service and working in partnership with both internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways for service users.</p>
<p>There is a strong emphasis on teamwork, supervision and CPD, with support from a regional network of Psychologists.</p>
<p><strong>As a Senior Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Providing psychological assessments of patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological (and neuropsychological) tests, self-report measures, rating scales direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the patient’s care.</li>
    <li>Formulating plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of acquired brain injury and forensic risk designed around the patient’s needs, and employing methods unpinned by relevant evidence-based practice and appropriate conceptual frameworks.</li>
    <li>Implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals within and across teams.</li>
    <li>Acting as psychologist for a ward and/or group of patients as directed by the Joint Heads of Psychology.</li>
    <li>Developing and managing groupwork programmes and innovative therapeutic approaches and ensuring that appropriate outcome measures are in place.</li>
    <li>Taking a key role in Psychology service developments, providing an evidence-based approach to new clinical initiatives.</li>

<p><strong>To be successful as a Senior Psychologist, you'll have:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualifcation in applied psychology (clinical, forensic, counselling) either through the British Psychological Society or a recognised training body, enabling registration with the HCPC as as Practitioner Psychologist.</li>
    <li>Experience (either pre-training, on training, or subsequently) of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the service population. This can include forensic, neuropsychological rehabilitation, learning difficulty, neurodiversity and complex trauma.</li>
    <li>Competency in psychological assessment and formulation skills and an aptitude for learning new assessment methods including standardised cognitive assessment (WAIS, RBANS etc)</li>
    <li>A well developed competency in structured risk assessment and management tools.</li>

<p>Are you a Consultant Psychiatrist on the specialist register for forensic or general adult psychiatry, who is passionate about improving the lives of women with complex mental health needs? If so, join the team at Arbury Court hospital.</p>
<p>Working 37.5 hours a week, you will provide care and treatment for adult women with a wide range of mental health issues, responsible for delivering care programmes, managing physical and mental health concerns and providing individualised approaches to the care and treatment of people admitted to the hospital.</p>
<p>Arbury Court are seeking a Full Time Consultant Psychiatrist for Clover (female acute) ward.</p>
<p>Arbury Court is situated outside Warrington, just off the M62 and close to Liverpool, Manchester, and Chester. There are excellent transport links, making the hospital highly commutable from across the North West.</p>

<p>This role includes second on-call duties (currently 1 in 17-18 for full time consultants) and the ward has middle-grade support. There are also opportunities for voluntary paid extra first on call locum shifts, and time back in lieu for on-call work.</p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Working effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure the best care and treatment outcomes</li>
    <li>Driving multidisciplinary care</li>
    <li>Contributing to service development and governance processes e.g. via quality improvement work</li>
    <li>Building positive relationships with external stakeholders such as ICBs</li>
    <li>Undertaking psychiatric assessments for women referred to the unit to determine the appropriate level of care to be provided</li>
    <li>Providing oral and written evidence at First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers’ hearings</li>
    <li>Ensuring that you are up to date with the latest developments by attending conferences, online courses etc.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you will need</strong>:</p>
<ul>
    <li>Full GMC registration and Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists</li>
    <li>To be on (or about to join) the GMC specialist register for either forensic or general adult psychiatry</li>
    <li>Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status</li>
    <li>To be in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and up to date with appraisals</li>
