  <p>This is a brilliant opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to join our Duty &amp; Assessment team and promote and improve the mental health and well-being of Children, Young People and those who care for them. Working for North Manchester CAMHS, you'll work with Children and Young People aged up to 18 years and who present with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. You'll be supported to manage a defined caseload and have the responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children and young people. We'll rely on you to ensure there is effective and sensitive communication between, the Children and Young People in your care, those who care for them, the health professionals you work with and other relevant agencies. MFT CAMHS sits within Royal Manchester Children's Hospital (RMCH) and is comprised of 44 separate services, including 5 Core CAMHS services (North, South, Salford, Central &amp; Trafford), Looked After Children/Adoption services, Children with Disabilities Service and Manchester Eating Disorders Service, along with Inpatient Services based at Galaxy House.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To assume responsibility for management of a defined caseload and exercise the highest standards of professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers using specialist knowledge and evaluation of care programmes in collaboration with children, young people and their families/carers, liaising with and referring to relevant agencies.</p> <p>To participate in a duty rota including receipt and screening of referrals, obtaining further information if needed and responding promptly to emergency requests for assessments or contact, signposting, and advice.</p> <p>To undertake assessment of children, young people including risk assessment, gathering appropriate information their family/ carers and other relevant agencies</p> <p>To develop a formulation and plan for intervention with the child, young person and parents/carers. Communicate this to the referrer/other relevant professionals</p> <p>To offer therapeutic, evidence-based practiced, interventions in line with NICE guidelines.</p> <p>To implement, co-ordinate and regularly review further assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions, including risk management,</p> <p>To routinely monitor effectiveness of clinical work by use of Routine Outcome Measures (ROM)</p> <p>Ensure that the perspective of children, young people and families is incorporated into all aspects of assessment and treatment</p> <p>The role involves travel to other locations within MFT and within the local community.</p>

  <p>MFT CAMHS Emerge 16-17 CMHT offer developmentally appropriate accessible and young person centred mental health services to young people aged 16 and 17 years, who live in Manchester Salford and Trafford. <p>Working for MFT CAMHS, you'll work with Children and Young People aged up to 18 years and who present with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>With current NMC, HCPC, SWE or BABCP registration alongside a recognised qualification, you'll have a working knowledge of CAMHS and/or adult mental health and have an understanding of assessing complex mental health needs &amp; levels of risk, including safeguarding and self-harm.</p>
<p>Using your experience of working with vulnerable people and their carers who present with complex mental health needs and are often a risk to themselves or others, you'll undertake assessments and formulate plans for intervention, in collaboration with the Child, Young Person and those who care for them.</p>
<p>Dedicated to providing an environment that encourages patient-centred involvement, you'll promote good working relationships as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, making sure care is coordinated with the internal and external departments you work with, with the ultimate aim of providing the best patient journey possible.</p>
<p>Using your knowledge of evidence-based practice, you'll offer therapeutic solutions in line with the National Institute for Health &amp; Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.</p>

  <p> Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service. 
2 * Undertake patient-centred interviews which identifies areas where the 
person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate 
assessment of risk to self and others.

department's referral protocols, refers unsuitable clients on to the 
relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or steps-up 
the person's treatment to high intensity psychological therapy.

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. The NMHT is friendly, supportive and innovative integrated secondary care team. The Neighbourhood population are often a cohort of people who are often perceived as not suitable, too complicated for the current structures or fall though the gaps.</p> <p>We are values driven and use our values to guide our decision making.   <p>You will increase the levels of psychological support and care provided to people who access the service. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions/groups to people supported by the NMHT. You will also offer supervision, consultation, training and reflective practice groups to support all staff to work in a psychologically-informed way. As the NMHT is a developing and changing service, there will be ongoing opportunities for service development, audit and evaluation.</p> <p>There will be opportunity for the role to be developed by the successful candidate to fit the needs of the Wigan population.   <p>Peer Support Workers have lived experience, and the knowledge gained from that

This is an opportunity for you to be part of something new in our brand new mental health support service which will shortly be opening in Warrington and Halton. Working alongside our Crisis Recovery Workers, you will be part of the Mental Health Matters team offering free mental health support 7 nights per week from 6pm to midnight. Our services are provided in a welcoming, comfortable, non-judgmental, and non-clinical environment.
