  <p>An exciting position has arisen for a psychologist or CBT therapist to join the Havering Early Intervention Psychosis Team for 6 months, fixed-term.</p>
<p>The post holder will join a well-established early intervention in psychosis service for people with a psychotic diagnosis and their families.</p>
<p>The post holder will join the EIP team, delivering CBT for psychosis with people aged between 14-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.</p>
<p>The post will suit enthusiastic psychologist or CBT therapist with an interest in developing their skills in applying evidence-based psychological therapies with this client group and working with multi-disciplinary teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for this client group . The post holder will be expected to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and offer support on psychological approaches to working with psychosis.</p>
<p>The post holder will be expected to participate in supervision and CPD focused on evidence-based interventions in psychosis.</p>
<p>In addition, the post holder will receive individual supervision and group supervision in CBT for psychosis. The service has practitioners interested in Narrative Exposure Therapy, EMDR and Family Intervention for Psychosis amongst other approaches.</p>
<p>The Trust has strong links with the UCL, UEL and Royal Holloway clinical psychology courses, several Counselling Psychology courses and the UCL CBTp diploma. Current members of the department are engaged in teaching and research projects with local clinical training courses.</p>

  <p>As a member of a specialist Psychological Therapies team, you will work closely with colleagues in our CMHT and in-patient teams as well as the newly develop Primary Care Community Mental Health Hubs. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire.</p> <p>You will provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. You will provide supervision and management support to other psychological therapists and consultation and guidance to our colleagues in the CMHT. You will have excellent communication skills and will participate in multidisciplinary risk assessment, formulation and care planning. You should be able to demonstrate your experience, skills and qualifications in evidence-based approaches in specialist adult mental health settings, this may include for example CBT or third wave approaches / Schema Therapy / EMDR / DBT / MBT / CAT.   <p>There is a rare opportunity due to staff moving on to join our Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health therapies team as a horticultural therapist.</p>

  <p><strong>**Occupational Therapy Opportunity**</strong>  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist, to work with adults of working age within the inpatient service at Tower Hamlets Centre for Mental Health. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist who is experienced in the field of mental health. You will be based within the Therapies department (comprised of Occupational Therapists; Art Psychotherapists and Psychologists) and will work to provide a therapeutic activity programme and will also work closely with service users during their recovery, assessing their needs and providing treatment interventions to facilitate their successful discharge. The use of OT assessment and evaluation tools will be a part of your everyday practice.  We require someone who is flexible and approachable. Effective communication skills, time management and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work well with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to engage in activities related to your continuing professional development and clinical effectiveness through regular in-service training and a comprehensive supervision and appraisal structure. The post holder will be expected to supervise band 5 OT's and take students, and there will be excellent opportunities to develop your professional. </p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
