  <p>We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist with relevant experience to join the leadership team in our Home Treatmentservice in Sheffield. The team works with a range of partner agencies, including GP's and VCSE organisations, to deliver interventions and treatment to people with a range of mental health difficulties in crisis including those with serious mental illness with a focus on reducing risk and avoiding hospital admission. The successful candidate will join a large team of supportive multi-professionals alongside clinical and forensic psychologists, psychotherapists and clinical associate psychologists within the acute, crisis and inpatient psychology team.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of clinical, operational and leadership roles. There are ongoing opportunities in the service to shape the psychology clinical pathway and the successful applicant will be actively involved in 'Home First' development. The role involves the co-ordination and organisation of the work of psychologists/ psychotherapists and other clinical members of the team to provide high quality psychologically-based care and treatment. The post holder will maintain a clinical caseload, provide clinical supervision, reflective practice and debrief and will actively work with other clinical leads in the service. The psychology team is research active and has close links with Sheffield University.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To provide clinical leadership and operational management for the Psychology team within the Home Treatment and urgent and crisis service in Sheffield.</p> <p>To provide clinical supervision and line management to psychologists/psychotherapists, clinical associate psychologists, mental health and wellbeing practitioners, assistant(s), trainee(s) and other professionals (where required). You will be responsible for the systematic governance of psychological practice and the co-ordination and organisation of the work of your team.</p> <p>You will support the team to monitor waiting lists and will support the co-ordination of resources available to the team by responding to referrals, making autonomous professional and clinical judgements based upon complex information, prioritising accordingly and contributing to multidisciplinary decision making. You will also use research skills for audit, policy and service development and research.</p> <p>To deliver assessment, formulation, and interventions in-line with evidence-based practice, though keeping client need at the heart of the work and offer highly specialised advice and consultation on service users' psychological care.</p> <p>To advise on and support the management of demand and capacity within the service.</p>

  <p>Trainee DBT Therapist</p> <p>Specialist Mental Health Practitioner, Band 6</p> <p>22.5hours pw</p>  <p>The Intensive Psychological Therapies Service is a forward thinking, dynamic group treatment service for people with complex trauma and long-standing interpersonal difficulties. Our therapies include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)</p> <p>We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic professional to join our Pan Dorset DBT team for 22.5 hours per week. You must have a recognised qualification in one of the core mental health professions e.g. psychology, psychiatric nursing, social work or occupational therapy, and previous experience in mental health. Training in DBT will be provided - this is a 2-year course and successful completion will result in a Postgraduate Diploma in DBT. The IPTS DBT team, which is based in Poole and Dorchester, will support the applicant throughout.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Under the direction of the Head of IPTS, to be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, psychological therapy assessment and specialist intervention service, and to recommend in the allocation of patients to appropriate interventions. To provide peer clinical supervision to other staff as directed. In keeping with NIMHE Personality Disorder guidelines (2003), the emphasis of the IPTS will be on time-limited, focused and evidence-based interventions.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to person centered care in a CMHT, where the expectations of the work will be broad and varied. You will be joining a friendly multidisciplinary team with great prospects for developing a good range of skills whilst in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our service aims to promote an optimum level of recovery, independence and social inclusion for each individual.</p> <p>We have two posts available; one to work in the North Community Mental Health Team, on a permanent basis. The permanent hours are 0.62 WTE for B8a, or as a B7 this would be 0.73 WTE hours.</p> <p>The other post is to work in the South Community Mental Health Team, on a fixed term basis.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) to work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>You should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and willingness to work proactively in both multi-disciplinary teams and within a multi-agency context. This role provides excellent opportunities for developing your skills in both direct and indirect team working, within a supportive team of experienced psychological therapists. </p> <p>The job will involve working alongside experienced MDT colleagues to offer one-to-one evidence-based psychological interventions to service users and their families, contributing to and delivering group work. The role also includes joint and indirect work with colleagues (team formulation, staff training, support and consultation around psychological issues); and appropriate audit, service development, evaluation and research activities as required. </p> <p>The post will suit a candidate with experience of work with adults with complex presentations, such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, complex trauma and personality difficulties. The psychological therapies team includes both clinical psychologists and CBT psychotherapists who offer a range of interventions including CAT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, family work, DBT-informed work, and CFT. The post would provide excellent opportunities in terms of developing specialist skills in psychological models of care.</p>
