  <p>This is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly commissioned pan-London Men's Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) service to reduce custodial sentences and improve the wellbeing of men in the criminal justice system with mental health needs. Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTRs) were introduced by the Criminal Justice Act in 2003, recognising that for many individuals who offend, mental health and substance misuse issues underpin their offending behaviour. Treatment requirements offer courts an alternative to short custodial sentences and aim to prevent reoffending by addressing underlying vulnerabilities and improving quality of life. This service aims to increase the use of primary care treatment requirements as part of a community sentence, offering psychologically informed interventions and advice. The MHTR Service will also provide the courts with information and confidence to sentence to robust and effective treatment requirements. Oxleas are recruiting 2.0 WTE B7 posts to work across South London, on behalf of the South London Partnership (SLP); a forensic provider collaborative which partners forensic services across three NHS Trusts, including Oxleas, South London and Maudsley and South West London and St George's NHS Foundation Trusts.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>These posts will be responsible for assessing for suitability and making recommendations for MHTRs and for delivering short-term psychological interventions for those that are sentenced to an MHTR. We expect all of the MHTR services to work closely together to ensure that there is consistency in the MHTR service being offered across London. The successful candidates will hold a clinical caseload and be responsible for supervision of the Senior Assistant Psychologist team. We hope to recruit a staff team reflective of the population we serve and welcome applications from those with protected characteristics, including minoritised ethnic groups. Candidates will be given the opportunity to be considered for all five MHTR band 7 posts at interview; as there are 3 other Band 7 posts being advertised simultaneously in North London, on behalf of the North London Forensic Collaborative.   <p>We are looking for 1 committed practitioner who would like to further their studies to train with South West CYP IAPT. We are offering one additional place to study place on their CBT IAPT training course as a secondment for staff working in the central CAMHS ICA. This is due to the demand and length of waiting lists for CBT in mid Cornwall. The course is is aimed at staff who work with a range of presentations in their daily practice and would equip you with a BABCP-accredited Postgraduate Diploma. The training is fully funded and can be offered on a secondment basis for suitably qualified staff working in mid CAMHS. community CAMHS on successful completion.</p>
<p>The course runs for one year, between January and December. This training course is funded by HEE, you would be studying at the University of Exeter 2 days a week and working in a children's mental health service 2-3 days per week.</p>
<p>'<strong>KSA</strong>' stands for 'Knowledge Skills and Attitude' and involves completing a portfolio throughout the year to show how your current skills match the level necessary for a core profession. To be eligible for the KSA route you would need to have a minimum of 2 years' relevant full-time equivalent therapeutic experience in a mental health setting. <p><em><strong>We will consider applicants from a range of CAMHS professionals and those with suitable experiences in children's mental health according to the CYP-IAPT Knowledge and skills framework.</strong></em></p>
<p>This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT). The post-holder will work within Cornwall CAMHS service at Cornwall Partnership Trust, providing interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role at the University of Exeter.</p>
<p>This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide interventions based on CYP-IAPT core principles and an evidence based intervention consistent with their training course. The post- holder would be expected to attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post and continue to work within the CAMHS service on qualification.</p>
<p>Graduates of any other HEE funded course need to be 2 years post graduation to be eligible to apply.</p>
<p>The course is suitable for anyone who already has a foundation in CBT skills. You would need to have:</p>
<p>Level 6 qualification, and a core profession recognised by BABCP.</p>
<p>OR</p>
<p>Eligibility to complete the course via the KSA route. Level 6 qualification is usually an undergraduate degree or equivalent.</p>

This post will be part time for 4 days a week</p><p>Sunderland Counselling Service Head Office is based in John Street in the city centre and we expect the successful post holder will work from a community base(s) across the Sunderland area.</p><p>The post holder who will hold a counselling qualification to Degree, MSc, MA, or Diploma level and will be working in a Sunderland Community Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (SCCAYPMHS) locality base within Sunderland as part of a team of counsellors. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>To contribute to the development of provision of child and adolescent mental health services across the boroughs of Northumberland, including the development and provision of Mental Health Support Teams.</p>
<p>To increase the awareness of the needs of this client group at primary care level through the sharing of clinical knowledge and expertise using a model of consultation/liaison/teaching and training/research and development with primary care colleagues. This will also include awareness of the 3 core functions of the Mental Health Support Teams - the provision of 1:1 evidenced based interventions, consultation/ advise and signposting role and delivery of the whole schools approaches with school settings in the trailblazer areas.</p>
<p>To participate in service improvement projects to ensure the needs of children and young people are at the forefront of delivery. This will include consideration of service evaluation data and joint working with other agencies and partners across the system. Collaborative working across the emotional and mental health pathway is essential and coordination of resources to ensure efficient and equitable provision.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To support the development and continued provision of current Mental Health Support Teams and the successful deployment of future teams across Northumberland. This will involve service development and improvement projects, as well as collaboration with our partners i.e. schools, colleges, early help teams, universal services, specialist services.</p>
<p>To provide clinical and case management supervision to clinicians within the service, ensuring high quality care and patient safety is paramount to service provision. To contribute clinically, by way of holding a caseload of young people to which support is being offered and to support with the wider role in relation to offering advice, guidance and consultation.</p>
<p>To support the service leads to ensure financial efficiency and effective use of resources.</p>
<p>To identify any gaps in service provision and to help develop services to meet the needs of this client group.</p>
<p>To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of collective leadership culture within the service and Trust.</p>
