Attention all Music Therapists!
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Music Therapist to support children and young people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP).
You will work with students who may have SEND, SEMH, autism, trauma-related needs, or other barriers to learning. Through individual and small group sessions, you will use music to support communication, emotional wellbeing, engagement, and personal development.
We work with schools, alternative provisions, local authorities, and residential settings, providing specialist support to vulnerable young people. If you are passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
Position - Music Therapist
Start Date - ASAP
Duration - Ongoing
Full Time/Part Time - Part Time
Pay Rate - 25- 30 per hour
Hours - Flexible
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable but not essential:
Degree or recognised qualification in Music Therapy
HCPC Registration
Experience working with children and young people
Experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
Provide two professional references
Have relevant experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
