Part time Music TherapistOne day per week (flexible)Primary SchoolSouthwarkASAP start The RoleYou will be required to work with a selection of students with SEND and social/cognitive needs and utilise music as a therapeutic tool to address the needs of the children, and create a personalised treatment plan to improve their wellbeing. <ul><li>Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of children to understand their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities and challenges.</li><li>Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate musical interventions tailored to each child's needs and goals.</li><li>Therapeutic Interventions: Utilise various music- based activities, such as playing instruments, singing, songwriting, and listening to music, to achieve therapeutic objectives.</li><li>Documentation: Document childrens' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.</li><li>Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, staff members, and caregivers to provide holistic care and support for students.</li></ul>The SchoolThis friendly and welcoming 2-form-entry school is close to Denmark Hill station with excellent transport links.
