  <p>Southampton Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service are excited to invite applications for a Band 7 Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. This is a great opportunity to join our team in Children &amp; Families Service line to support in the delivery of high quality children's mental health services.</p><p>The successful candidate will have a keen interest in working collaboratively with children and families and with partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and families in Southampton. You will have a role in offering core interventions as well as specialist CBT interventions to children and adolescents and their families, as well as consultation to the team and professional networks.</p><p>This position calls for a professional with HCPC registration and BABCP accreditation. In all cases, you must be able to demonstrate the clinical, consultation and skills needed to offer an outstanding service. First-class communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills are, of course, essential.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be working alongside an established CAMHS team at an important time in our development. It really is an exciting time to be joining Southampton CAMHS as we push forward with implementing new ways of working in order to best meet the needs of children and families accessing our service. We are looking for a CBT therapist who can lead by example and truly engage with service users, colleagues and stakeholders.</p><p>Appointment to the post will be through application, assessment and competency based interview process to be held on a date to be confirmed.</p><p>Please note that should this post attract sufficient interest, we may choose to close at an earlier date. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Low-Intensity Team across Dorset.</p> <p>Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing is a dynamic, and progressive service with a friendly and supportive team. You will work within NHS Talking Therapies, providing psychological interventions to people with mild to moderate common mental health problems, such as anxiety disorders and depression.</p> <p>As a psychological wellbeing practitioner, you will provide treatment to help support people by:</p> <p>Conducting patient interviews</p> <p>Carry out safety assessments,</p> <p>Provide phone, online, and face-to-face Guided Self Help sessions</p> <p>Liaise with other agencies, and signpost patients to services, such as housing and employment.</p> <p><strong>You must have either a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status or an MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) qualification to apply for this post.</strong></p> <p><strong>This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only.   <p>The post-holder will work within the NHS Talking therapy service providing high-volume, low-intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions service to patients with mild to moderate anxietyand depression.</p> <ul>  <li>Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.</li>  <li>Assess and supports people with a common mental health problem in the self management of their recovery.</li>  <li>Provide a range of information and support for evidence based high volume low - intensity psychological treatments. This will included Guided Self Help, Computerised CBT, information about pharmacological treatments and Courses. This work maybe face to face, telephone or via other media.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

  <p>Are you a highly specialist practitioner psychologist looking to work within the acute hospital setting with the liaison psychiatry team? Liaison psychiatry is looking for a part time highly specialist practitioner psychologist based primarily at Royal Bournemouth Hospital with cross cover at Poole Hospital as and when required.</p>
<p>As the highly specialist practitioner psychologist you will manage and develop the specialist psychology service for older people in Dorset. Providing expertise and specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals, contributing directly to clients' formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan. You will be responsible for the day-to-day line management and clinical supervision of psychologists and assistant psychologists working in the Liaison psychiatry service.</p>
<p>You will formulate plans for the formal psychological assessment and management of client's mental health and implement a range of interventions. You will make evaluations and decisions about treatment options and exercise full responsibility and autonomy for the treatment and discharge of clients.
