This includes monitoring and reviewing care plans, responding effectively to changes in patients needs, managing and prioritising nursing duties, delegating appropriately and acting as nurse in charge when required. The role also involves maintaining professional standards, supporting newly qualified staff through preceptorship, participating in clinical supervision and reflective practice, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Medicines Management, Priory Group policies and the NMC Code.
