<h2><strong>Fully remote, full-time internship for aspiring clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.</strong></h2><p>Our Clinical Psychology Internship equips aspiring mental health professionals worldwide with essential skills and practical client-facing experience, preparing them for careers in clinical psychology, coaching, psychotherapy, or counselling.</p><p>Interns complete an intensive one-month crash course covering a toolkit of evidence-based techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Training and support will be provided by the Head of Centre in Birmingham and the wider James Place team.</p><p>Online Information Session - We will be holding a 1-hour online information event on Wednesday 29th October where you can hear more about James Place, the Therapist roles and our plans for the Birmingham centre.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Community Therapy Team at Solihull.</p><p>We have a vacancy for a full-time, permanent Band 4 Therapy support worker.</p><p>The post holder will be competent to work with Occupational Therpists and Physiotherapists, supporting qualified staff to undertake various rehabilitation programmes and administration duties.</p>

  <p>The role of the Therapy Support worker is to support the Solihull Community Therapy Team in the provision of treatment and rehabilitation to Solihull patients who require therapeutic intervention.</p><p>This role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other Therapy support workers.</p><p>The Therapy Support worker will work autonomously, carrying out domiciliary visits to patients across Solihull Community, whilst under the supervision of the qualified Occupational and Physiotherapists and the Band 4 Therapy Support Workers in the team. The domiciliary visits will focus on the delivery of prescribed exercise plans support, equipment checking and outcome measure collection, delivering safe, effective and timely care within the patient's own home.</p><p>The post holder will be involved with administrative duties to support the Community Therapy service through onward signposting tasks and general administrative duties including booking in appointments.</p><p>The trust is committed to providing a 7-day service. The role therefore includes participation in a weekend cover rota. The role requires a car driver with a full license (with business car insurance) to enable them to be able to drive independently to their daily visits.</p>

Band 3 Therapy Support Worker

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to work with a friendly, lively, supportive, innovative and inspiring team, with a good track record of Assistant's progressing in their career both within Clinical Psychology and other relevant fields.</p> <p>You will join a department of 3 Assistants, 2 trainee Clinical Associates in Psychology, a trainee CBT therapist and 7 qualified Clinical Psychologists, collectively covering the Memory Assessment Pathway, Community Mental Health Planned and Unplanned Pathways and Inpatient Services. The post will be based in the East (Lichfield and Tamworth) though there will be times where the role requires you to travel between, or input into, different MPFT sites, and includes working from home when required with equipment provided by the Trust. There will be plenty of opportunity for peer support and clinical supervision.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>All clinical activities will be under the close clinical supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist within the Planned pathway of our Community Mental Health Service. You will have a significant role in delivering elements of service individually or in groups for Service Users such as anxiety management, graded exposure and emotions programme. You will, where appropriate, contribute to the clinical assessment of service users. You will also contribute to the assessment, formulation and intervention within care homes where there are indications the care home staff are finding it difficult to understand and/or meet the person's emotional needs as that individual's ability to communicate their needs deteriorates. There maybe times when you are required to conduct audits or service evaluation to assist with the development of the psychology and wider service. The Assistant Psychologist may be involved with training staff, delivering groups, using outcome measures and evaluating the effectiveness of the interventions delivered. Administrative duties will include the maintenance of referral databases using excel, SharePoint and OneNote.</p>
