  <p>We are recruiting to a <strong>Peer Support Worker role</strong> within the West Midlands Learning Disability and Autism Community Forensic Service.</p>
<p>This service is being developed as a partnership between <strong>Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT)</strong> and <strong>Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT)</strong>.</p>
<p>We are seeking applicants with <strong>lived experience of mental distress</strong> who can draw on their personal experiences to offer empathy, understanding, and hope to others. The role of Peer Support Worker has been developed specifically to ensure people with lived experience can inspire recovery and provide meaningful support.</p>
<p>This is a <strong>non-recurrent, two-year project</strong> funded via the Reach Out Collaborative, with the contract commencing upon appointment. This post is available as a <strong>fixed-term contract or 20-month secondment</strong> opportunity for internal applicants.</p>

Do you have a passion for being part of the dietetic critical care team for one of the largest critical care units in the country?</p><p>Thanks to new funding, we're thrilled to offer a permanent opportunity at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital site, part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, to join our dedicated Dietetic Critical Care Team. With 100 critical care beds across four units, this is a unique chance to work in a fast-paced, clinically rich environment. This role is ideal for a Dietitian looking to develop their clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and service development skills within a supportive and forward-thinking team.</p><p>You'll work closely with the Clinical Lead Dietitian and other Band 7 Specialist Critical Care Dietitians, supported by two Band 6 colleagues. You'll also be an integral part of a large, multidisciplinary critical care team that highly values the dietetic contribution.</p><p>The post offers an excellent opportunity to be involved with research, audit and presenting at conferences nationally and internationally.</p>

  <p>This post is based on the Surgical Critical Care Unit. You'll have the chance to work closely with liver transplant patients, as well as those undergoing hepatobiliary surgery, upper gastrointestinal (UGI) procedures, and complex gastro surgeries. This is a fantastic environment for anyone passionate about making a real impact in critical care, learning from cutting-edge surgical practices, and being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.</p><p>This post involves the nutritional management of highly complex patients requiring a range of therapeutic diets, oral nutritional supplements, and advanced enteral feeding via multiple routes, including nasogastric (NG), nasojejunal (NJ), percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), radiologically inserted gastrostomy (RIG), and jejunostomy (JEJ). Demonstrated clinical experience in managing complex enteral feeding is essential for this role</p><p>QEHB is a major trauma centre, and the trauma teams work closely with the critical care teams and they also have a strong working partnership with the royal centre of defence medicine to treat both military and civilian patients. The critical care unit is also a specialist provider with a wide range of disciplines including cardiothoracic surgery, renal, burns, liver, major trauma, neurosurgery, transplant etc. This post will give you the opportunity to develop a highly specialist dietetic service, alongside the other specialist dietitians and clinical lead for critical care.</p>

  <p>The Inspires service is part of the national Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway and comprises of 4 services within HMP Swinfen Hall: a Psychologically Informed Planned Environment (PIPE), a residential treatment (Delta Enabling Environment), a non-residential treatment service (NRTS) and an Enhanced Support Service (ESS) working with service users housed across the prison.   <p><strong>Previous applicants need not reapply</strong></p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee psychological therapist to join our newly integrated Community Mental Health team in South Warwickshire (To be confirmed). The successful candidate will be provided two years of CBT training, supervision and support in a welcoming and friendly service. Upon successful completion of the Post Graduate qualification, you will be able to take up a post of CBT therapist. The training will focus on psychosis and bipolar but will also cover the wider spectrum of difficulties supported by Adult Community Mental Health services.</p> <p>This role is a 2-year fixed term appointment during which time the post-holder will complete a postgraduate diploma programme in CBT for psychosis and bipolar disorder. It will lead to a permanent band 7 psychological therapist post at the end of this period if the postgraduate diploma programme is completed successfully.</p> <p>Applicants will need the academic confidence to work at post graduate level and to be able to travel to Hull for four study blocks of a week at a time. Training capacity and opportunities may mean the post holder will work in different localities within CWPT during their two-year training. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post-holder will work to provide formal psychological interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post-holder to provide a CBT service to service users with a range of complex presentations including psychosis and bipolar for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post-holder will be seconded to NHS Talking Therapies for 2 days a week in their first year and will work in the CMHT for 2 days of the week developing skills and experience in working with complexity. The post holder will work in the CMHT (Psychosis pathway) for 4 days a week in the second year. The post holder will attend the training programme for the other day each week.</p>
