Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Forensic Psychologist to join a low secure service supporting 12 male patients with mental health needs. You will play a key role within a multidisciplinary team, providing psychological assessment and interventions to support patient recovery, whilst promoting dignity, respect and high standards of care.
Salary: £50,500 per annum

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, flexibility available

Location: Heath, Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Your key responsibilities will be;
- Conduct timely psychological assessments following referrals and develop person-centred treatment plans.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to patient needs and therapeutic goals.
- Manage an assigned caseload, maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and care planning.
- Adapt psychological interventions and activities according to individual patient needs.
- Maintain appropriate clinical records and work within agreed timescales.
- Promote dignity, respect and high standards of patient care.
For this role, we're looking for someone who has;
- A recognised postgraduate qualification leading to eligibility for HCPC registration.
- Current HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience or interest in working within forensic or low secure mental health services.
- Ability to deliver effective individual and group psychological interventions.
- BPS registration is desirable.
