Assistant Psychologist / Assistant Psychological Therapist

Are you looking to join an exciting, transformative psychological therapies service? NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire are a strong partnership service - a collaboration between Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Solent Mind. We strive to deliver a high quality, evidence-based, patient-centred service to the population of Hampshire.

We are looking to appoint 2 Assistant Psychological Therapists (fixed-term for 12-month) to support our Psychological Therapists. This will include holding a clinical caseload, supporting patients using online therapy platforms and facilitating therapeutic groups under supervision.

We operate where our patients need us, this may be at one of our 'hubs', in local community venues or medical sites. You will have a base from which to claim travel (Winchester, Gosport or Andover) and where you will most likely be for computer-based work. We operate a hybrid model of working dependent on the needs of the locality.

Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above in a relevant subject, such as Psychology or an appropriate equivalent/relevant qualification and be accredited by a professional body such as the BPS or BABCP. Ideally you will have experience working in a mental health setting, with some experience of therapeutic intervention.
