<p>Thornford Park Hospital, part of Elysium Healthcare, is an independent 143 bedded hospital set in 23 acres of parkland on the outskirts of Newbury, Berkshire (close to the Hampshire borders).</p>
<p>We provide services for male and female patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) who require care in conditions of medium and low security. Our service users, many of whom have forensic histories, require long-term treatment and rehabilitation and present with multiple problems, challenging and high-risk behaviour and complex care needs. In addition to the mental health wards, Thornford Park has a 14-bedded low secure service for male patients with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, commissioned by NHS England, a medium/low secure service for females with a Learning Disability, and a medium secure service for males with Learning Disability. We also have two Psychiatric Intensive Care Units, one for males and one for females, providing holistic assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing crisis.</p>

			<p>If you’re an Associate Specialist looking for a new opportunity to join a friendly multidisciplinary team in an established secure service setting delivering&nbsp;high-quality clinical service to people with complex mental health conditions across the medium and low secure service.</p>
<p>&nbsp;Working part time 18.75 hours a week alongside the unit's multidisciplinary team, including the Consultant, to ensure that service users receive a holistic and person-centric treatment programme based on the recovery model.</p>

<p>As an Associate Specialist, you will ensure the high quality first-line medical care of our inpatients, liaise effectively with external professionals and carers, provide written and oral evidence for Hospital Managers’ and Tribunal hearings, work towards safe discharges including preparing discharge summaries, reports and other necessary documentation and be a valued and effective member of the multidisciplinary team at Thornford Park Hospital</p>
<p>This established service looks to continually innovate, improve and deliver excellent care for its service users, has an active programme of education and research and provides significant developmental opportunities for its staff.</p>

<p>We are currently recruiting an experienced group work facilitator, working alongside a teams of experienced Recovery Workers across our Fareham, Gosport and Havant sites.</p>
<p>The role may involve occasionally covering for other group facilitators in Hampshire, as well as supporting the hub Recovery Workers based on service need.</p>
<p>We have a bespoke structured group work programme which the Group Facilitator will be responsible for delivering, as well as additional groups based on the needs of the clients - this can include SMART groups, auricular acupuncture, mindfulness and meditation and substance specific groups.</p>

Groupwork Facilitator Recovery Worker

<p>We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join the Fareham Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based at Fareham Health Centre with the possibility of also providing support to Gosport CMHT. This is fixed term for 2 years.</p><p>The CMHT works with adults aged 18 years plus with complex, severe and enduring mental health problems. The principles and philosophy of care are based on the recovery model and we work closely with other CMHT team members as well as inpatient and crisis services.</p><p>The role will involve implementing a programme of group interventions as well as providing consultation, brief intervention and longer term therapy. There is an opportunity for supervision to other team members as well as individual input with clients based on evidence based Psychological interventions.</p><p>The successful candidate will join the Portsmouth and South East Area Psychological Therapies Service, comprised of 35 psychologists and psychological therapists with expertise in CBT, DBT, CAT, ACT and EMDR. We have good supervision structures and an excellent track record of CPD, as well as good links with Southampton University, particularly with the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology and the Post Graduate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programme.</p><p>We will consider applicants who are working towards accreditation in an Evidence Based Psychological Therapy on a transitional band 6 post, with progression to band 7 upon successful award of accreditation.</p>
