<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>

<p>All clinical hours gained on placement can be used towards accreditation with a body such as BACP and UKCP. If your course does not accept child hours but you would like to gain counselling experience of working with Children and Young People, you can still apply for a Place2Be placement as a second placement.</p>

Demonstrated clinical experience in managing complex enteral feeding is essential for this role</p><p>QEHB is a major trauma centre, and the trauma teams work closely with the critical care teams and they also have a strong working partnership with the royal centre of defence medicine to treat both military and civilian patients. The critical care unit is also a specialist provider with a wide range of disciplines including cardiothoracic surgery, renal, burns, liver, major trauma, neurosurgery, transplant etc. This post will give you the opportunity to develop a highly specialist dietetic service, alongside the other specialist dietitians and clinical lead for critical care.</p>

growth within the Wellbeing &amp; Emotional Support Teams (WEST), South
Worcestershire, Redditch &amp; Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest teams we are now seeking qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners
to join our fantastic localities. </p><p></p><p>The WEST team are a forward
thinking, supportive &amp; hardworking team that is continuously developing as
individuals and a service. We provide high quality, evidence-based CBT interventions
to Children &amp; Young People in Schools and focus on a Whole School Approach
to make the schools we work with a mentally healthy environment for CYP.</p><p>We will provide you with

well as flexibility and a wealth of support, making the WEST environment a great

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are a busy service,
covering schools and higher education
colleges in Worcestershire . You will be delivering low intensity CBT
interventions (1:1 or group) in your aligned schools as well as delivering
Whole School Approach activities, keeping the CYP at the heart of everything
you do.</p><p>Under the support of
operational lead, clinical lead &amp; senior practitioners you will manage a
caseload of patients and complete assessments, care plans &amp; other relevant
documentation whilst maintaining the fidelity of the low intensity CBT model.</p><p>An understanding of
risk management &amp; safeguarding is imperative for this role, and you will be
supported with managing this within the team. </p><p>You will also receive
regular case management &amp; clinical skills supervision to support you
clinically as well as participate in MDT/screening meetings.</p><p>You will work closely
with families, school staff &amp; other professions and at times deliver
consultations &amp; signposting advice to other agencies. Thus, strong
interpersonal skills are key.</p>
