<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>
<ul type="disc">
    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>
    <li>We have places available in our projects in both primary and secondary schools nationwide.</li>

<p>*<strong>Counting your hours</strong></p>
<p>All clinical hours gained on placement can be used towards accreditation with a body such as BACP and UKCP. However if you need to gain clinical hours for your course, we would strongly advise that you check with your course tutor as to whether child hours are accepted before applying. If your course does not accept child hours but you would like to gain counselling experience of working with Children and Young People, you can still apply for a Place2Be placement as a second placement.</p>

<p>You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist or studying towards one of these professions at the following levels:</p>

  <p><strong>Band 3 Clinical imaging support worker working across The Humber and North Yorkshire Healthcare Partnership (HNY) to provide a </strong><strong>NHS MOBILE CT SERVICE to support Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC)</strong></p>
<p>This is a newly developed service and we are looking for pioneering and innovative CT CISWs who are keen to experience a new way of delivering a varied workload.</p>

<p>The CISW will support the radiographers in delivering this service. The will prepare the patients for the scan including cannulation. The will generally assist the radiographers with scanning and admin tasks.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for CISWs to assist with the running a state of the art CT scanner installed on a expandable trailer to support the CDC service across the Humber and North Yorkshire Healthcare Partnership region. We currently have two mobile CT scanners</p>
<p>This service will rotate around the region providing a Mobile service to supplement the CT services in York &amp; Scarborough Trust, North Lincolnshire and Goole Trust and Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust delivering CT capacity at non-acute sites. Exact locations currently include East Riding Community Hospital, Hull CDC Hub, Askham Bar York and Selby Hospital, but other sites are possible across the region.</p>
<p>You will be expected to travel to several locations across the region on a rotational basis. Preferably working 3 long days (subject to site and demand) you will be supported with travel expenses and accommodation when necessary.</p>
<p>You will be an NHS employee, your host Trust will be HUTH however you will be employed to provide a service to the HNY.</p>
<p>In the future your role may include responsibilities at any sites across the HNY and there may be a potential for out of hours responsibilities.</p>

  <p>We are looking to recruit a Band 4 Infant Feeding Support Worker on a fixed term contract for 15 hours a week.</p> <p>The Maternity Care Unit consists of 40 beds. We work in close partnership with our transitional care unit which is also situated on the ward. UCLH is UNICEF Baby Friendly Accredited.</p> <p>You will need good communication skills, be able to function well as part of a team and be motivated to facilitate changes.</p> <p>We are seeking a capable and experienced infant feeding support worker to complement our existing team which is based on our busy postnatal ward.</p> <p>If you are looking to develop your career and postnatal care is your passion then this is fantastic opportunity.</p> <p>We require the post holder to be enthusiastic, and demonstrate the appropriate competencies for the role, working within the existing multidisciplinary team and have good communication skills on all levels.
