  <p></p><p>The successful applicant will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation. They will receive clinical supervision from a senior Psychologist (with BABCP Accreditation if required) and will work closely with AEDS psychological therapies team.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing or contributing to the clinical supervision of Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists; this is, with support and, where applicable, training to assist in the development of these supervision skills.</p> <p>The post holder will be expected to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulations and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of their psychological interventions (individual and group). <p>You'll be joining an established, supportive Multidisciplinary Team providing rehabilitation to people with neurological conditions in their own homes. We work across the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service and the Early Supported Discharge for Stroke service, helping patients regain independence and achieve the goals that matter most to them.</p>
<p>The Therapy Assistant role is pivotal, and you will work closely together with all of the other team members to support patients' rehabilitation, manage their neurological condition and achieve their goals.</p>
<p>As part of the role, you'll visit patients in their homes and in community settings, so access to your own vehicle is essential. After a thorough induction, you'll deliver rehabilitation and education sessions both independently and alongside other team members. Your day-to-day work will be varied and tailored to each patient's needs.</p>
<p>You'll be joining a team with a wealth of specialist knowledge, links and experience, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and develop within neurological rehabilitation.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<p><strong>A team of neuro rehabilitation specialists assisting people to manage their neurological condition and achieve their goals, in their chosen environment, aiming towards greater independence in everyday life.</strong></p>
<p><em><strong>T</strong><strong>he role is full time at 37.5 hours per week, though we're very happy to consider applicants who are looking for part-time hours.</strong></em></p>
<p>To deliver patient facing rehabilitation programmes as guided by therapists. Examples include:</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>Are you an experienced dietitian with an interest in maternity? We are looking for a dietitian with a real passion to drive forward and promote excellence within the maternity department as part of the diabetes specialist multi-disciplinary team. This is a brand-new post because of external funding and an exciting opportunity to develop the Dietetic service in this area. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership within the team to improve pregnancy outcomes and support a positive patient experience. You will work in partnership with other professionals, pregnant people and their families. You will champion patient involvement in the management of their condition through their diet, and you will demonstrate a patient centred approach by providing sensitive and complex information in a compassionate manner.</p>
