  <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent, Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work in the Community Children and Young People's Service (CYPS) in the Northumberland team.</strong> </p>
<p>We welcome applicants who have experience working with children and young people although this is not essential. It is essential that applicants are registered as a Speech and Language Therapist and have previous experience working within a mental health, learning disability or neurodevelopmental setting and/or team. We are interested in appointing a dedicated and committed individual who can demonstrate their ability to engage and work collaboratively with others/partner agencies and understand complex systems in order to support effective pathways.</p>
<p>CYPS provide care, treatment and assessment for young people with complex, moderate to severe needs over the whole of Northumberland. </p>
<p>The multi-disciplinary team comprises a highly skilled and experienced workforce of consultant psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychotherapists, social workers, art therapists and support workers. The team are dedicated, compassionate and always put young people and their families at the centre of everything they do.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will provide specialist SALT assessment, intervention and recommendations for children and young people accessing these services. You will work as an integral member of the CYPS MDT and support the ongoing development of the SALT provision in the service.</p>
<p>You should have qualifications and experience relevant in this clinical field and work well as part of a close team and be able to work independently. You will liaise closely with fellow professionals to address communication difficulties as part of a holistic, service user centred service and be confident in providing high quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions and possess excellent communication and organisational skills as well as have the ability to work independently.</p>
<p>The post will be based at St Georges Park Hospital in Morpeth, Northumberland. You will be required to travel to other sites across the Trust as part of the role.</p>

  <p>We are looking for 12 month maternity cover to the Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner role within the North Bristol CAMHS team.</p> <p>We are a service working withchildren and young people with complex mental health needs. We use the CAPA model of assessment and treatment, which would involve working with a variety of clinical presentations and needs, including: suicidal thoughts, low mood, anxiety, OCD and emerging psychosis, often alongside neurodiversity. We also have a lot of referrals for young people with disordered eating and diagnosed Eating Disorders, and there are opportunities to work within this clinic if this is something you are interested in.</p> <p>We are looking for a practitioner with a core professional registration, including registered nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapists, art therapists and CBT therapists.</p> <p>North Bristol is an area of significant disparities in health, wealth and access. You will join a friendly and supportive group of psychologists in the locality and there will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills through CPD. The trust has an enviable care pathways system which values Psychology, Psychotherapy and the Arts Psychotherapies. There are opportunities to train in DBT, CBT for psychosis, family interventions, CBT for personality disorders and structured clinical management.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Variety:</strong> You will have the chance to work with a wide range of complex presentations including affective disorders, psychosis, and personality, and using a variety of methods and approaches. With assessments, individual therapies, group therapies, family interventions, MDT working, complex case meetings, indirect interventions using a Positive Behaviour Support framework, and supervision all part of the role, it's safe to say that no two days will feel the same! Many of our Psychologists in acute services find that the switching really helps to stay energised.</p>
<p><strong>Fast-paced:</strong> You will get to be reflexive; formulating problems, identifying with teams when attempted solutions create a new or different problem, and supporting teams to remove barriers to discharge and supporting people to have an independent and personally meaningful life outside of hospital.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic Psychological Therapist to join Greenwich ADAPT (Anxiety, Depression, Affective disorders, Personality disorders &amp; Trauma) a secondary care multidisciplinary service providing place-based care for people living in the Borough of Greenwich.</p> <p>You will have a passion for working in multidisciplinary teams supporting people with emotional regulation and interpersonal difficulties. We are particularly interested in candidates with interest, experience and/or training in mentalisation-based therapy (MBT) as the successful candidate will join our MBT team. Broader groupwork or group analytic skills are also welcome.</p> <p>You will join a dynamic and skilled Psychological Therapies Team comprised of psychologists, psychotherapists, cognitive behavioural therapists, art therapist, assistant psychologist, a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner, as well as trainees. The service offers a range of modalities including MBT (Mentalisation-based therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapist), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), art therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and MBCT (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy). The team also work closely with the wider MDT to provide Structured Clinical Management (SCM). New developments this year include the planned launch of a comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme, and the service is acting as a site for a randomised controlled trial evaluating a trauma focused adaption of MBT.</p>

This is an exciting time for our department, and we believe this is a great opportunity to join our team ahead of future developments in our service</p> <p>In addition to the merger, we have recently moved into a brand-new hospital with state-of-the-art equipment.</p> <p>We are a multi-faceted department, offering a rotation through Computerised Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. We operate a CT and MRI shift pattern involving evenings, weekends and overnight CT duties, whilst maintaining the opportunity to enhance earnings through overtime.</p> <p>Our Imaging department comprises of 4 new Siemens CT scanners that perform a diverse number of examinations on a weekly basis e.g. CT guided ablations, cardiac scans and colonography examinations. Additionally, we have 2 onsite 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanners and a 3T Siemens Vida as well as the exciting opportunity for training and rotation on a state of the art 1.5T Siemens Sola MRI scanner located at Broadgreen hospital.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Therapeutic Radiographer who is passionate about teaching and education. The Practice Educator will be responsible for the coordination of provision and development of clinical placements for preregistration students and apprentices in the radiotherapy department.Sussex Cancer Centre radiotherapy department is based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and operates satellite services in Preston Park Radiotherapy Centre and Eastbourne Radiotherapy Unit. This post will require attendance at all sites.</p> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, creative individual who is keen to develop and support innovative radiotherapy education. The post holder will be responsible for support and guidance to other staff regarding clinical teaching and supervision whilst acting as a liaison between the department and higher education institutions. The responsibilities of the post may also extend to staff training and education.As a clinical expert, you will also support patients through their cancer journey.</p> <p>Our sites are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Elekta Versa HD Linacs, Tomotherapy, and Philips Widebore CT scanners.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Having an advanced understanding and knowledge of the radiotherapy process, the post holder will be a clinical expert in Radiotherapy. They will have responsibilities within the role they are employed to ensure good communication, good understanding of safety, excellent patient care, development under evidence base practice and teaching skills for all aspects of their job.</p> <p>They will support an increase in radiotherapy student and apprentice placement capacity at UHSussex by demonstrating complex organisational skills and creatively utilising and developing resources. The post holder will maintain a high level of clinical skills and as part of the education team, deputise for the Radiotherapy Practice Development Manager when required.</p>
