There are children and young people in and around the Flintshire area who need something more than just a traditional fostering placement. They need time, patience, expertise and above all someone who will believe in them and fight their corner.We are looking for extraordinary people to join us as Lleol Foster Carers including those who have worked as CAMHS Practitioners, supporting children and adolescents with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs. If you ve delivered therapeutic interventions, worked as part of a multi-agency team, or helped young people manage trauma and emotional dysregulation, your expertise could offer a child the one thing they need most a safe, therapeutic home.What makes Lleol Foster Carers different? We re looking for individuals or couples who:<ul> <li> Have professional or personal experience in supporting children &amp; young people</li><li> Can provide a nurturing, therapeutic home environment</li><li> Have at least one spare bedroom that can be dedicated to fostering</li><li> Hold a full driving licence</li><li> Are able to offer their full-time commitment to this role</li><li> Can work as part of a professional team, attend meetings, and engage in training</li><li> Are resilient, reflective, and ready to parent in a new and guided way</li><li> Are open to registering as self-employed</li></ul> Ideally, you won t have other children under 16 living in your home (though exceptions may apply dependent on individual fostering experience).This Could Be the Career Change You Never Knew You Were Ready For.
