  <p>The post holder will be working within a busy team alongside a team ofregistered mental health nurses and be supported by the Team Manager,Senior Clinical Lead/CBT Practitioner, and team administrators.</p> <p>Post holders will have a high level of autonomy working across designated GP practices, managing their own clinics and providing mental healthassessment and evidenced based treatment for people aged over 18. You will provide a service to people who exhibit complex common mental health needs and stable, predictable and enduring serious mental health needs. You will be expected to develop and manage all aspects of their service, such as waiting lists according to local need, working within the parameters of the service operational policy.</p> <p>A key aspect of this role is GP consultation, liaison, education and training. You will be expected to attend GP practice meetings at least twice a year to discuss the service and actively seek feedback and report any issues to the team leader as well as areas for improvement and any innovative practice for sharing and disseminating. Staff will be expected to autonomously manage high volumes of referrals. Staff are expected to work on their own initiative in a busy and demanding service and to be able manage change effectively.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

Depots to be administered by practice nurses. Hooper Ward is our 13 bed acute mental health service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
New Dawn Ward is our 18 bed specialist Tier 4 Personality Disorder service. Women can be admitted to New Dawn if they have a diagnosis of personality disorder, exhibit self-harming behaviour and are able to accept the need for help. Service users can be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act.
Upping Ward is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs. The service pathway provides a robust programme of care for women with challenging high risk behaviour who experience difficulties with engagement with therapeutic programmes. We aim to meet the needs of these women, who may have had previous inappropriate placements, in a less restrictive setting.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a is a gender specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs.
Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions and personality disorder services.
We accept emergency and planned, pre-assessed admissions. Our aim is to support individual service user recovery and integration back into the community, as quickly as possible. We have a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and offer a very broad range of therapies.</p>

  <p>The Children and Young People's (CYPS) Directorate in Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join the well-established multi-disciplinary Mindworks Hub South. Mindworks Hubs are part of Mindworks Surrey, an alliance of NHS, national and local voluntary sector organisations providing mental health services to children in Surrey using the THRIVE approach. The Mindworks Hub South has the main base in Frimley, with a satellite office in Guildford.</p> <p>This post will be suitable for a passionate and highly motivated psychologist / CBT therapist interested in ensuring excellent psychological care is accessible for children and young people with complex mental health needs from diverse backgrounds, through delivering direct therapeutic interventions, providing supervision to junior colleagues, and providing consultations to the MDT and other services. This is a part-time (18.75 hours) secondment cover post based in Guildford.</p> <p>Psychology in SABP has a history of being highly valued and clinicians are well supported to develop their generic and specialist skills in a range of therapeutic models. We encourage staff to be involved in service development, audit and research. We provide regular supervision and access to CPD opportunities.</p>
